Stayed here to celebrate our engagement and it was perfect. It’s a treat without feeling pretentious. The room was a good size and well equipped and food In restaurant delicious. All the staff were so helpful and made our stay feel really special. Great spa treatment too.
This review is for our room only as feel the restaurant is just horribly over priced. Our room however was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed . We were so fortunate to stay in The Hyde a beautiful escape from the world ! Laying in bed with the log burner going and seeing deer is a memory forever and if you are the kind of person that loves to spend hours in a huge free standing bath looking at leafs falling this will be a dream. Stopped by here for just a moment on our way back from a hiking/camping weekend. Very friendly staff that gave us a much needed refill for our waterskins. The inside had the vibe of a cosy old english estate house, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and there were deer walking around out outside! Awesome place and I'm glad we dropped by. :)
