Went with a couple of friends for lunch before the rugby at Ashton Gate. Despite being very busy, the staff were fantastic - attentive, friendly and effecient. Had a very enjoyable pub lunch and will definitely return.

Really nice place if you want some nice beer and just relax with friends or you fancy a very well prepared food. Everything is freshly made, really good selection but of mains and starters and I love their desserts. It’s nice and cosy place. It’s always nice to have a hot meal in winter time and in summer time I love to walk besides Avon river and my final destination is this place for chilled, nice beer. I always come to this place when I go for my walks by the river side.

Simply great food. Redd is extraordinary as a server, so attentive,helpful and friendly. Went way beyond what I normally expect in a gastro pub with table service. We came again the following night and the rest of the team were very good too. They really want you to have a good time. Dog friendly and a positive, relaxed atmosphere. This will be our regular every time we visit Bristol in future.
