A grungy student pub with poor lighting and black interior paintwork. A trip to the ladies toilet involves several accidents waiting to happen. Take a torch! The Room Above comedy was hosted by Harry Allmark, an annoying man who shouted into the mike all night and had nothing funny to say. Nice building, good event space and friendly staff. Sadly the drink selection is subpar (especially on the ale front), drinks slightly overpriced, and the toilets are badly maintained - no soap, no lock on the cubicle door, no toilet paper

Very quiet when we visited on a Sunday afternoon but great if you want to watch sport as there various very large screens scattered throughout the bar. The decor is a unique mix of vintage furniture and neon lights. Imagine it gets busy on a Friday/Saturday.
