Thee biggest shout-out to Petra who made the night, amazing fun, interesting , passionate, caring teacher. Had such a great evening, learnt so much, met thee nicest people and will definitely book onto another class in 2024.

Good fun food and atmosphere created by friendly and hard-working staff (5*). Yo Sushi facilities management clearly lacking. Gent's toilet out of order. Door & toilet in wheelchair accessible cubicle in need of attention - hence far from clean and hygienic.so 2*.

they took a while to acknowledge and give us service, food was just ok, price a little steep. chicken katsu rice was pretty good but portion is small, and chicken sushi is also worth a try

Food was OK and staff friendly but the ordering system is online and completely ridiculous. Vague wifi and glitches mean you're sitting there yearning to just talk to someone. There are no buttons to call people over or free fizzy water as there used to be at Yo! All a bit of a pain to be honest.

This place is a mess. One particular staff member, blonde hair was rude to us, all she does is chat to other staff members. Our food that was sat on the counter for over 5 minutes arrived eventually after waiting a full 40 minutes to be made. When questioned she just shrugged her shoulders. We left and she was sat at the counter reading her own menu whilst the junior staff rallied around servicing a busy service?! The food was not nice, I got two dumplings in my soup and it tasted like dishwater. Complained, as I used a blue card they told me the system wasn’t working so will removed the drink because of the service we received, the amount deducted was less than the blue card discount. No comment received from the complaint I made to head office after over a week, I truly believe as we were a mixed race gay couple, YO doesn’t like that or this particular staff member didn’t and it shows. This place has gone down hill, not the same as it use to be. Avoid this place and YO, lots of other nice Japanese restaurants to choose from.

Service was slow considering you can select most yourself off the belt. Children's food arrived quite a time after the adults which as any parent knows, causes some stress!The food once it came was fresh and lovely.

Visited with our two children last week. The food was awful and our poor server was new and left to fend for himself because he kept forgetting our order (we had some allergies so we were asked by staff to use the app and then the server would double-check our order for the kitchen). The app kept crashing and adding previous items onto each new order and despite notifying staff each time they were insistent on still using the app and tried to charge us for food we weren't brought. We decided to leave but had to wait over 40 minutes for someone to get the bill even though we asked numerous times and the place was dead other than my family and 2 single diners. Really disappointed, I think our family will avoid Yo! from now on.

Really great service and food. So easy to just pick up dishes from the conveyer and the phone based ordering worked very smoothly. Everyone loved the flavours and the chocolate puddings were also a real hit with the kids.

I don’t think I’ll ever come back to YO! Sushi, which is a shame because I’m a massive sushi fan. It took 10 minutes to be seated. The staff were very unwelcoming. It was very difficult to attract a waiter’s attention. The food is overpriced for what it is. As a pescatarian, it was difficult to tell what food was fish and what was meat. They didn’t have any ice for my drink. Apart from the conveyor belt gimmick, don’t bother coming here.

Very disappointing experience. Website states that they are opening from 11:00. The wall and door was glass but nobody cared to open the door or welcome us. 11:09 I opened the door and asked are they open and they looked at me like why are you here and then they mumbled that yes. After being seated I stated ordering but the app is very confusing and stopped working after the 10 minutes. Many items on the paper menu were not on the app menu and there is no search option on the app. I forgot to add the drinks and due to app not working I just didn’t have a chance to order any. There was no service at all. No one came to us to see are we ok or do we need anything. I had three hungry toddlers with me so I didn’t have the chance to go and look for a staff. We were the only ones in there beside the staff but I noticed that the one waiting staff was busy packing delivery orders rather than attending us. I have been in Yo sushi several times but this was my first (and last time) in Cabot Circus. Baby seat was very dirty and had old food around the bottom strap. Food was good but service very poor.

We arrived at 12pm just before the rush was told we could use the qr code or help yourself. My daughter wanted some bits to order so we did we waited and waited then went to see someone as it was taking so long they first told us the order hadn't arrived at the kitchen and would be on it straight away we helped ourselves to some dishes that were coming round but again had to go and see someone as we waited 45 mins then was told the kitchen was busy we can see the kitchen and everyone else was getting their orders. After a few more minutes we decided enough was enough and went to see the manager and said we were really dissapointed with the service and waiting time I explained it was my daughters birthday and her response was "Happy birthday now LEAVE" so we did and ok we didn't pay for anything but I won't be going back Exeter is far better lovely staff their who are more friendly and service much better.

The food was great and initial service was fast with drinks, however very disappointed that we were a little neglected where we were sat. No staff member seemed to ever come over to the area we were sat and even when we tried to flag down a member of the team we were completely ignored, the waitress looked at us and then proceeded to just walk away and wipe menus. It took over 10 minutes of sitting and waiting to get someone to come over and talk to us to get the bill. It wasn't even that busy.

For starters, not much on variety, salmon and tuna. Some of the plates on the belt way to long, looked dry or aging. The sauce on the Korean chicken was just not right if you've ever had proper Korean style chicken, honestly after just after 1 and a half plates I lost my appetite. Didn't finish the chicken. I had ordered a water and a coke zero. Bill was 25.00 pounds. When I was ready to pay, staff paid no attention, waived then down on two occasions and was ignored, I finally had to dig into their app and hit the help button. They where to buried in their phones to be troubled.No eelNo mackerelNo hamachiNo yellow finBasic rolls and bland flavors is what you like with sushi this place Knight be good, I won't be returning.In us I would have spent maybe 8 poundsIn Japan I would have spent 4 pounds for the same things.

First time here and staff were great! There was a great smart options for food and lovely drinks. Had a lot of food and tried soo many new things thanks to my friend bringing me there. Very happy and will come again (even though i cant use chopsticks, there are the kids versions for big kids like me!)
