Warm, friendly, welcoming place with loads of history. My visit was rather extended mainly due to the great selection of real ales. Highly recommended. Don't forget to pick up a jar of the pickled onions ?

The Kings Head, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. (Saturday 24th February 2024).This historical gem hidden away in the very heart of Aylesbury town is run by a devoted family business and local Chiltern Brewery. This review is solely to praise their Flat Iron Steak I had this evening for the second time. A perfectly cooked medium-rare melt in your mouth pre-sliced generous portion of steak serviced with great fries, a large single portobello mushroom, pine nuts, half a grilled Little Gem and leafy salad. As a keen amateur cook, BBQ Pro and steak perfectionist, I’ve got to compliment the chef for the amazing aroma this Flat Iron steak gives off which follows through into the taste! Simply delicious. 5 STARS!

Was out for an evening with friends and turned up at the pub and served by 3 lovely staff members! Adam, George and Phee. Service was amazing and felt welcomed the entire duration of our visit. Will definitely be coming back again!

Had a lovely lunch here today. The pub is on the small side, so it's best to book in advance. The menu is slightly limited, so make sure there's something you fancy. The food was delicious and well cooked. My mum's meal wasn't very hot so Sent it back and got a fresh meal quickly.

We booked the dining room for a family function for 40 people. We ordered from the buffet menu and pre ordered drinks as well. From the very first contact to organise this event the team was very professional. On the day the food was truly delicious and freshly made. The atmosphere in the dining room is relaxing and traditional. The whole team was fantastic with all our guests throughout the day. I would recommend to anyone.
