Our ‘go to’ venue for the best Sunday lunch in town. The King’s Head never disappoints and today was no exception. Roast beef just melted in the mouth, food was piping hot, beautifully presented with a Yorkshire pudding as fluffy as a cloud and service was faultless. Great choice of real ales brewed locally by The Chiltern Brewery and their signature Chiltern Black is delicious. Great atmosphere which is always warm, cosy and welcoming. Had coffee and a pot of tea with a friend here as a treat. The venue as always was lovely with plenty of history for those interested in that kind of thing. . There is plenty of outside seating for the warmer months. The ambiance inside was nice, tea and coffee were nicely presented. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t eat.

We often visit here, lovely pub for a few drinks with an excellent selection of ales and just as good of an option for a meal too. Menu changes regularly and is always pretty small but the food is always great quality. All the staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is always great. Lovely beer garden area for the warmer months too. There's definitely cheaper pubs in Aylesbury but this one is always a high quality choice.
