“Lovely little find. The toasties were delicious. The multigrain bread I bought is lovely. Will be back. Seating is outside so will make it a dry day to come but the shop has some lovely produce in it, meats, cheeses, veg and home cooked meals that looked nice.”

“Stumbled across this place whilst driving back to Bristol. Saw the sign and took a chance. What a great surprise. Beautiful place, good simple food, cooked well and with efficient and attentive staff. Lots of little bits of interest for kids and some cats to meet while you’re there around the gardens.”

“This chippy is bossing it! I ordered a large cod, small chips and a curry sauce, came to £13.60, which is ok if you are used to London chippy prices.
The small chips was a good portion and probably more like a medium and the curry sauce was served in a cardboard cup the size of what you would have a standard coffee in! The chaps in there were pleasant to chat to. Proud to be from the beautiful island of Madeira as the photo collage proves.
I loved the cod, was a good standard and decent chips too. I only wish I took pics of the meal. Just a heads-up, cash only but there's an ATM at the Post Office nearby.

“Really enjoyed the place. Service was very good and recommendations from the waiter were spot on. We had pizza and the ham hock and chicken pie, which were delicious. For starters we had the goats cheese bruschetta and pil pil prawns. Also really tasty. Overall can recommend it.”
