We haven't been in Buckingham long and have now found the best Indian restaurant we booked last minute and straight in the staff are very welcoming and Gary the owner to man get more baileys and chocolates but being serious food was lovely and good size portions and the staff are on the ball no trying to get there attention so definitely going back again

Buckingham Tea Room

We had the afternoon tea and it was brilliant. Not traditional in the slightest, and everything was cooked/baked perfect. The lady serving us was also very friendly. Would highly recommend.

The Larder at Manor Farm

Best vegetarian breakfast I have had in my 42 years. Amazing. There was literally nothing to critique. Quality of food was incredible and it tasted perfect. Highly recommended

The Direct Pizza Company _ Buckingham

Amazing pizza have ordered plenty of times, I live in a village outside of Buckingham and use uber eats and they always deliver and the foods always hot! Delivery guys are always nice aswell, best pizza. ? ❤️

The Grand Junction

Absolutely lovely! Food was amazing - obviously fresh and great quality. Potions were VERY generous and great value for money. Staff were attentive and friendly. Will definitely be going back..

Crumbs winslow

Excellent service from Hassan, we ordered a tuna and cheese jacket potato and a prawn jacket potato. Both meals were delicious and came with salad on the side. The ingredients were fresh, and we genuinely could not have been any more satisfied. Lastly, the portions were very large for which we were very satisfied as we were too very hungry mouths.

The Crown Pub and Restaurant

Went with my parents, sister and her partner for Christmas Day and we had a fabulous meal. It was a fun family atmosphere with everyone laughing and enjoying themselves. From when we walked in, we were made welcome, the service was fantastic not rushed but well looked after. The food was fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back for a meal or special occasion. This village pub is a real gem!

Buckingham Nurseries & Garden Centre

I had a lovely visit to Buckingham Nurseries and Garden Centre restaurant. The centre itself is beautifully laid out, with a great variety of healthy plants and garden items, making it a joy to browse. The restaurant was a real highlight – clean, welcoming, and relaxed, with friendly staff who made us feel at home. The food was fresh, well presented, and very tasty, with good portion sizes and reasonable prices. It’s a perfect spot to unwind after shopping. I’ll definitely be visiting again and would happily recommend it to others

The Crown

Visited Christmas Day 2025.
The whole experience from booking to paying was brilliant.

We booked on line then rang to pay a deposit. The gentleman who dealt with us was very professional and cheerful. When I asked if any of the dishes contained alcohol I was offered a specially cooked dish (I'm an alcoholic) for my lobster thermador
At the pub the dining area was small and intimate and not crowded on top of each other. The waitresses were attentive but not intrusive and the host was jolly and friendly but efficient.
Food was lovely and plentiful and we walked away feeling very full.
Atmosphere was perfect, exactly what we were looking for, gentle murmuring of conversation and a quiet background music level. No loud parties
The waitresses were happy to engage in conversation and explained that they did receive the gratuity money from the card purchase and that everyone received an equal share
Whilst this was a one off meal, we have already decided to revisit this pub in the new year to try out the normal menu.
Looking forward to our next visit

The Peri Peri Chicken Company

Dropped in here last night before heading to hotel. Dude behing counter was decent and welcoming.. ordered the Whole Chicken meal deal with rice and corn, asked how long and told 10 minutes.. 10 minutes later the guy came to my van.. the rest is history.. I get from Pepe's in suffolk.. these guys here made THE BEST CHICKEN IVE HAD..

Red Chilli Gold

It was my wife's birthday, it had been a busy day. I’m housebound so popping to a restaurant was not an option. My wife needed a break from shopping on foot for a meal (we have no car).Our previous takeaway delivery meal been spoiled by delivery in plastic boxes- great for microwave owners but risky for owners of ovens. I phoned Red Chilli Gold and was reassured by a friendly voice that the food would be delivered in a box in aluminium foil trays. Ordering by phone was facile and the same phone waiter was quick, likeable and efficient? The dishes came on time and as ordered.Starters of plain and spiced poppadums were crispy and tasty whilst the small pots of chutneys were excellent. ‘He’ had special ‘fish of the day’ : sea bass in a lovely sauce, whilst she had delicious duck in another house special sauce served with extra red wine.Sides, naan and two different rice dishes were perfectly prepared. Gosh were we full and happy at the end.\nOur experience was perfect. We shall order again and tell others not to bother with competing restaurants : head for RED CHILLI GOLD?❣️

China Cottage

We ordered a King Prawn Curry, Pork Chow Mein, Egg Fried Rice, extra curry sauce and prawn crackers last night 14th Feb 2026. The takeaway was delivered on time, the food was hot and absolutely delicious.

Buckingham Tandoori

Always enjoyed the food from here, but since they have been brought out by dipalee lounge, the food has gone down hill in my opinion. The onion bhajee’s are not the same, and are very dry. The curry dishes are very watery. The old way was in my opinion the best way. Food is still well priced, and delivery times are really good, aswell as the website.

The Kings Head Coffee & Gin Bar

My wife and I visited the Kings Head by chance. We were passing through and wanted a bite to eat. We were glad we picked this pub as the food and friendliness of the staff is excellent. We have already said we will call in again when we are passing through. To make our visit extra special they even had live music which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for a lovely afternoon ??

White Hart

From the moment we arrived to when we checked out the staff were amazing. Attentive, understanding (we had a very long journey and were tired!) and couldn't do enough to make us feel at home. Special thanks to Ben and Tim who were both brilliant. The rooms were very clean and spacious. (USB ports A and C on all plug sockets was a nice touch.) Food was excellent and quick to arrive, and the choice of drinks was great and all at a decent price. Would definitely recommend without hesitation.

The Woolpack

Pub looked very pretty and appealing from outside, lovely flower baskets, blackboards advertising meal offers. Friendly welcome inside. Laid back relaxed atmosphere, a pub for locals (and dogs) but tourists like us welcomed. Quite short menu , however meat, fish and vegetarian choices all available at reasonable prices. Not long to wait for meals. Food served hot and fresh. Basis pleasant pub grub. On Mondays and Tuesdays adults buying a main meal may choose a free starter or pudding.

Dial A Curry

We ordered a lovely selection of curry’s breads rices and other sides.
The chicken was really tender as always.
All of the meal was delicious!
Had a family get together and the food was wonderful.

Dukes Bar & Restaurant

We went to try the new steakhouse. The food itself was very tasty; we had burger, flat iron steaks and dirty fries (bearnaise sauce was a little too bland and the steak was a little overdone on the medium rare if I am being picky). Atmosphere was lovely. Waiters were very nice but the food was very slow even though we arrived as it opened so very quiet (possibly because it is new/kitchen wasn't ready?). The waiter accidentally spilled half a bottle of J20 onto my sons lap, mistakes do happen and they were very apologetic and asked if there was anything they could offer complimentary and I suggested desserts would be nice. When the bill came they only had taken off one dessert despite my son sit uncomfortably in soaking wet clothes for the whole evening (we had actually considered going home which would definitely have ruined our whole evening) and it was a very long time due to the slow service. I spoke to the manager and explained I thought it was all the desserts were offered complimentary and got him to change it. I wish I hadn't had to go and speak to the manager to get things cleared up but to be fair there was no fuss or argument from their side which was much appreciated.Manager: some other little feedback to improve; offer a plate for the olive stones - there was nothing to put them on other than the table cloth! Ice in the tap water glasses/jig would be nice. A kids menu would be nice if you want to encourage families (you might not!) and a drinks menu would be helpful.

Ma's Cottage Winslow Food Takeaway

This is our local and we LOVE this place. They remember our names (and honestly, we don’t order that often!?) and are just the loveliest people to be served by. Our food is always hot, big portions and good value for money. They haven’t upped their prices in at least the last year which keeps us going back. Even the local kebab shop costs more to order from to get a kebab and chips than what I’d get from this Chinese.
They are Winslow’s angels and our house loves them.

Vegetarian options: Lots of tofu options which is sparse in this area. They always call if they’re unsure on your order and any dietary restrictions or preferences you have (eg - you have asked for no beansprouts on your order, are onions okay for you?) and this applies with the vegetarian meals too. Their meal deals include vegetarian options too!

McDonald's

We ordered through the McDonald’s app and had trouble getting it delivered. After waiting nearly 3 hours due to app issues, we spoke with Jade and she was so helpful and friendly and went the extra mile to solve the issue quickly.

Can't say much else other than the late staff sorted out Deliveroos issue when Deliveroo wouldn't - manager (didn't manage to get name) sorted out what we presume was an order taken by the driver and sent another. Greatly appreciated.

Best Pizza in Buckingham?… Pinch me if I’m wrong!! Living the dream!! Well done to Adam , Tom & and the team ( where is Anton ?? ) … that 2sq meter kitchen does miracles and super tasty food! The service, the music selection and the atmosphere does the rest! Thanks so much guys!! See you all soon!

The Blackbird

We had my partners birthday bash at the Blackbird. Andrea, the landlady did us proud. The food was an excellent spread. Good night had by all who attended. Thank you so much for all your hard work. Nick and Maria.

I definitely reccomend it. It's a great atmosphere and the people and staff there are really friendly!A lovely place to go out to and bring friends and family.

Brilliant old fashioned pub right next to town and warm welcome from the landlady friendly and cider was really nice and good selection of crisps. The pub itself shows live-tv sports and games room at back with good pool table and dart board the toilets were kept clean I visited today and played few games of pool would recommend here or the New Inn if nearby.

Esquires Coffee

Nice coffee shop that is much bigger on the inside than it looks from the street. Plenty of room when we popped in on a Saturday morning in November. Plenty of friendly staff, nice coffee (be careful as large is VERY large). We also had croissants, but there is also a very good range of food and snacks to choose from. Toilets very clean. Dog friendly too. Recommended.

Gazzeria

Really great place for food bits and drinks- i got an oreo milkshake and it was sooo good! the lovely lady who served me was so kind and we had a great chat - i will definitely be back here next time i’m in the area!! 10/10 ?

Cheng Du

I'm not sure if it's new owners or they changed recipes but some of the food just isn't as tasty as it used to be. Prices have gotten rather high too.

Stowe Gardens National Trust Cafe

The café is excellent and definitely worth a visit after exploring the gardens. There’s a good variety of fresh food, including hot meals, sandwiches, cakes, and drinks, all nicely presented and good quality. The seating area is comfortable and relaxing, with a lovely atmosphere that makes it a perfect place to rest after a long walk. The staff were friendly and service was quick even when it was busy. Overall, a great spot to recharge and enjoy some tasty food during your visit.

Cornwall Place Kitchen

We stopped by a local French pastry shop to see if they had anything in on a Sunday late afternoon. Unfortunately, they didn’t as they were having classes that day, however, she did tell us that if you go down to the Cornwall Palace kitchen, they have our pastries there. So a short walk later we found this wonderful little coffee shop.

As you might imagine, the cookie that we chose was absolutely delicious. I had a Cortado and my wife had an extra hot latte. Both were made impeccably and served with smiles and friendliness. The vibe of this little place is really relaxed and enjoyable. We are here in February and I’m pretty sure everyone else is a local. That’s a definite thumbs up for us. The total bill came to just over £12.

The restroom is super clean and… Wait for it… Has actual cloth wash cloths to dry your hands on after washing. Outstanding!

So if you’re in the area, we highly suggest you stop in and enjoy.

The Mitre

By far the best pub that we found in Buckingham, indeed the only one that was selling a decent range of cask beers. Range of kegs too.
Friendly locals. Friendly staff, especially the young barman who entertained us with an impromptu quiz session.

Carnitas

One of my favourite places to eat. Both the breakfast and dinner options are always amazing with amazing customer service. I always look for any excuse to visit this place or recommend it others

Golden Crust

I had a chicken salad baguette with chilli sauce and mayonnaise. Everything tasted fresh and was delicious. Recommend this place for the food and friendly service.

Smarts Take Away

Great fish and chips, I was visiting from Sweden and had to have a good fish and chips and this place knocked it out the park,,, big portions too. Definitely will be back next time I visit England.

Munchies

I pop in here once a month or so. The food is always cooked well. Price seems really fair. I always have the same order so they usually just start cooking it when they see me.

Lucky Star

Im the pickiest eater. This chinese food is the absolute best ive ever had. Near and far and across seas. Absolutely beautiful food every single time. If u want taste and quality then look no where else!!! ❤️ love the lucky star family

Desperate Dan's

Not much to say with atmosphere as it is a food truck. Food has always been good and service has always been good too whether collecting or delivery. Had a slight issue recently with an order but it was quickly resolved at no extra cost. Trustworthy and reliable.

Subway

I had the best subway experience I’ve ever had with Steafen last week. He was so polite and kind and he made the sandwich with so much care. Honestly it was the best! I don’t live particularly locally but will be back for sure :)

Coffee#1 Buckingham

I visited Coffee#1 during the Christmas period when it was incredibly busy.
It's a charming, cosy place with warm, welcoming staff.

Dylan made me one of the best cappuccinos I’ve had in a long time. The coffee was beautifully prepared, and his calm, friendly manner really stood out despite the rush.

I'll definitely be returning. I highly recommended if you’re looking for great coffee and a warm, inviting place to relax.

"I used to visit this great fish and chip shop when my colleague and I worked for Tesco. He would prepare our order as quickly as possible while keeping it fresh, as we were still working on our deliveries. Sadly, we no longer work that way, but honestly, this is the best chippy in Winslow."
