Been using this chippy for many years and always find the food tastes good and the staff friendly. We no longer live in Winslow but I still travel the 8 miles each way to get my fish and chips from this shop and wouldn't go anywhere else.Personally I can't understand the poor feedback left as I have never found any food from here greasyParking: Free parking on the road but if no spaces there is also a car park located at the rear of the shop that is free in the evenings.

AVOID. Used before but thought we would give them a second attempt. As first order was wrong! Attempted again as local! Very Rude, don’t know how to speak to customers. Very offensive when commented on portion sizes. A large chips were a handful at least. Won’t be using again tastes of dirty oil. Curry sauce is like water. AVOID take your money elsewhere! A takeaway is a treat! What a disappointment.

Everything is normal quite good at this chippy. The fish are large portions. The chips are usually a bit soggy. On this occasion I opted for a cheese and onion pastie. The owner said that it was ready but I had to wait several minutes for it. When I opened the package at home I realised that the delay must have been because the pastie had been defrosted in the microwave. Soggy pastry on one of the most foul tasting pasties I've ever eaten it was absolutely disgusting. Never again!

Was in the area and decided to try the fish and chip shop, the chips were OK, very greasy. Everything else that was ordered was disgusting, stay well clear!!

Most of these comments are probably done by friends and family because the place is a mess the food is less then 1 star but I wasn't able to rate any lower the prices are ridiculous for the food they serve the Owner has a attitude the atmosphere is like being in a morgue no card payments like most takeaways that are going out of business so they dodge the tax man I do not recommend this place people.

Always good fish and chips.Parking: On-street parking is hit and miss. There is a parking area around the back which is pay-and-display during the day.

Unfortunately seems to be going downhill again, food isn't as tasty, staff not that friendly. Might go back to the other 1 again. Only good thing is portion size. Shame they don't read theses to improve.

Poor quality of food, I received a cheese burger which looks very terrible, I spoke to the owner, the owner replied to me that prices have gone up so the food is going to look like that, I was shocked on that response. Please look at the burger I received.

The best chippy around. Huge portions. Clean and tidy place. Useful local noticeboard. Quick service. Good prices. Recommended.

Good food, excellent portion sizes, good value.Cash only though which is annoying. I never have cash and Winslow doesn't have many cash points.
