My wife and I visited the Kings Head by chance. We were passing through and wanted a bite to eat. We were glad we picked this pub as the food and friendliness of the staff is excellent. We have already said we will call in again when we are passing through. To make our visit extra special they even had live music which we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you for a lovely afternoon ??

What a find. A great pub in the centre of the little Market Town of Buckingham. We went in for lunchtime refreshments. Staff & customers so friendly. Absolutely any type of drink you wanted. I had a speciality gin my partner coffee as he was driving.

Had lovely breakfast cooked by Karl, eggs were lovely and just what I fancied. Great service all around ☺️

Traditional pub on the outside, tacky bar on the inside. We were quite enthused as we walked up to this old looking traditional pub but when we walked in there was an 'ah' moment. The inside is basically a bar and not a great one. The toilets were dirty, run down and just about functional. I can imagine this place was beautiful in its hey day but any character the building had is long gone. Can't comment on the food because we only had a drink but didn't receive the warmest welcome on arrival. Probably won't be back.

Came here for a coffee instead of going to a chain but it was scolding hot and wasn’t that enjoyable. Only saw after I paid I could have got a coffee and cake for £5 but was too late to change.

The Kings head is our favourite pub in Buckingham. The team are always so welcoming, they take the time to get to know you and are very family friendly. They have a lovely variety of drinks, cakes and snacks available. The menu is delicious, varied and they have great options for vegetarians. The food is always 10 out of 10 and the chef takes the time to check in with the customers. Highly recommended.

Quite honestly one of the worst presented meals I’ve ever had. I got beef casserole with mash and peas, I think I found one piece of beef in the plateful of lumpy gravy that was given and it was just awful. My partner had steak pie with mash and again he had slightly more beef in his pie but swimming in lumpy gravy and just incase there wasn’t enough lumpy gravy for us on our plates, we were also given a jug of gravy to add to the swimming food ? also really noisy and I really don’t know how they have 4.5 stars on tripadvisor

Just popped in for a drink. The gin selection was amazing and the barman was very knowledgeable. We sat outside in the back yard which was very unloved. Could do with a lot of sprucing up.

Popped in for a lunchtime snack. Large club sandwich but chicken was overcooked so lost a star there. Great service and staff.
