Iam really sorry have to say this but we went today on mother's day for a carvery here. I presumed that everything bar the meat was eat as much as you like, limited to one Yorkshire pudding the meat was taste less and blanned roast potatoes looked the part but didn't taste good hard in the middle the gravy was also watery. I had a sticky toffee pudding for desert and it was rock solid I don't usually complain and I couldn't fault the staff or service this was not £156.00 worth of quality food I was hoping for.

my husband and i went for a carvery at the woolpack,what a lovely venue it was,the menu was full of great choices,the mdal was lovely,staff were really friendly and helpful,iwe had a great afternoon here,we cant rate the pub enough for the oustanding food,service andcwelcoming atmosphere,our highest compliments too the chef,outstanding. if ever you are in around buckingham ,book a table its petfect.

The Woolpack hosted us for a family meal of 20 today and it was all round super. We had the whole back room to ourselves and they had laid a long table out for us. The roast dinners were excellent and the puddings too. Good portion sizes with lots of meat. Catered for vegetarian and vegan too. Dan and Ollie were very attentive and gave a great service. Thank you, can recommend.

Booked a table of 5 for a Sunday roast, I was surprised with the poor portion sizes & the quality of food was very average considering the price we paid. the bar staff were helpful & attentive but left feeling very dissatisfied.

Great pub, food is top notch, specials change every week so there’s always something new to try. Staff are friendly helpful and always welcoming. Special events are great fun and the free quiz night on a Wednesday is a must! Absolute gem.

Nice pub, with a pleasant beer garden. Good choice of beers on draught.Food terrible - “bisto” style lumpy gravy on the sausage and mash was a let down. Burger was still pink in the middle.
