It is rare to receive such a genuine welcome from staff, obviously so committed to the hotel.Rooms: Spacious and very well equipped and maintained and beautifully cleanNearby activities: Lovely day at Stowe Park with and helpful volunteers. The buggy ride to and from the car park even made the National Trust £15 seem fair(ish).)Walkability: Well equipped with liftsFood & drinks: Freshly prepared with good ingredients

We attended for Sunday dinner had to find someone to seat us, had to ask to get drinks it’s like they didn’t want us there. The roast came 3 of us sharing a tray of roast definitely not enough plus we had to lean over each other to serve ourselves with so serving cutlery and a tiny gravy boat to share. No plates to serve up, so food went cold whilst we waited to be given plates. The beef was under cooked basically raw with so much fat in it. I asked if they had any better cuts of beef they said the whole joint is the same. I could then hear the waitress telling the chef what we said and could hear him moaning about us from our table. Honestly the worst experience here and would never come back again! It’s no wonder the restaurant was practically empty! We took my partners elderly parents for dinner and it ruined our whole day to be honest.

We had a Sunday roast here today, as a vegetarian it’s usually really hard to find a good roast. However this perfect and I felt well catered for.Thank you ☺️

Villiers is one of the best fine-dining places you can find in Buckingham. Great food, great service and reasonable prices for that kind of an experience. I’ve tried their Afternoon Tea and a Christmas Dinner. Both were superb. Go there for the experience!

Clean, feels more like a bed and breakfast lodge in a village.Breakfast was very bland but the staff in the restaurant were lovely.Overall, not bad but not worth the expensive rate.It was very far from the Blenheim Palace and a long drive considering it was booked as part of a package.

Not a 4* in my opinion, our room was not great all all! Woken up about 10 times through the night as we were located in a room in the courtyard at the building entrance, hear everyone coming in and leaving it, every car coming in and everyone in the room above. The room was pretty disgusting as well, cobwebs, hairs, stains, mould… not what I would expect of a 3* nevermind a 4*Staff were lovely and breakfast was nice… would not come back ever I am afraid

We have just returned from a short break at the hotel and I would like to say that from the moment we checked in at Reception the experience has been wonderful. Staff are friendly and professional, our room was decorated to a high standard and very spacious. We ate in the restaurant on both nights and the food is delicious. A visit to Bletchley Park is definitely recommended if you stay at the hotel.

Stayed one night for event in the ballroom. Had breakfast. It's OK. Quite expensive for what it is. WiFi was useless. Had to switch it off as it kept dropping out. Breakfast was nice. Staff work hard.

The Villiers exceed expectations. Beautifully refurbished. A wonderful choice of delicious food from a comprehensive menu. Top marks to the Chef. The staff were delightful and nothing was to much trouble.. would certainly recommend this hotel.
