Great for a family meet up! Nine of us went for dinner at the white hart (our usual spot has closed down) and we were made to feel so welcome. We were given table service which we really weren't expecting; our host was lovely and went out of his way to makes sure everything was just right.Thanks x

What a lovely little pleace! Good value for money but the highlight for me was the breakfast, clearly done by very talented chef. Staff is nice and friendly, you can see they really get on and enjoy what they do. Would recommend lamb for roast dinner- to die for ❤️

We only visited the bar and not the hotel. In fact we had been staying for a week at another hotel in Towcester, where there is absolutely nothing to do. We stumbled upon this place and found people. It was lively and a fun spot with great vibes. I realize my 5 star review could be influenced by my week of stir crazy solitude, but for the area, this bar is 5 star.
The white hart is a great venue at the heart of Buckingham. Located on the main road surrounded by other venues and eatery’s.We chose to drink and diner here and overall we wasn’t disappointed.The atmosphere is nice, the staff are great, the music is good and they have a selection of indoor games and activities such as Pool, Darts, Shuffle Board and Slot machines. They also show live sports on several screens throughout the venue.When dining here we decided to order the Camembert Cheese and Garlic Focaccia starter which was generally nice although it wasn’t really garlic flavoured or focciaca more like a sourdough bread but still, very niceThe for the mains we had the Minted lamb shank with veg and chips which was really really tasty and I highly recommend, we also ordered the Sirloin steak with beef dripping (as they had no pepper corn sauce) and also added the Salt & pepper squid toppings. The squid was very undercooked (sadly) and had no salt or pepper seasoning on them at all, which was a let down but other than that it was a great meal and a great experience.

The team at the White Hart at absolutely fabulous shame that the hotel itself could not live up to these high standards as the hotel accommodation areas including the rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment and upgrading.The team exceeded my expectations and going that extra mile to make my stay the best that it could be; a true credit to the business.This is a building of some age and past grandeur yet this has now been lost, the hotel this is very run down and showing the wear and tear of decades without the upkeep it requires.The housekeeping standards are high yet this is let down by the poor décor and maintenance including more room lighting and stained seatingUpgrade the rooms and I would be more than happy to stay again but not in the current state.

Room was right next to the kitchen extraction. Very noisy. Tv lost reception constantly. Decor is very outdated. Windows are of very poor quality. They don't open properly nor do they keep the cold out. Overall the accommodation is awful. Didn't use the bar so no comment, what staff I did talk too were pleasant.
