Hands down my favourite pub, lovely owner, great atmosphere, fab service and best of all excellent food from a knowledgeable chef with a great range of options for those with intolerances. Also the best gluten free fish and chips I’ve had in more than 10 years!

They ask you to leave when they feel like closing!!! What happened to licensing hours?Customers being asked to leave at 9:30 pm so the staff can go home early. (Broken Britain) The excuse given it’s not worth keeping the pub open? Yes it is!! It evens itself out from the busy spells!!! We’ve all been to pubs that have quiet patches! Can you imagine any other establishments closing when they feel like it? Imagine getting to Sainsbury’s at 8:30 pm and they’re closed or the Post office, Closed because they said they only had three in the queue?! .. This pub is busy most of the time. Which would more than cover quiet spells financially! Some nights they call last orders at around 9 o’clock!! Last orders please ?!?!? Last night we arrived there too find them closed at 9: 30 pm curtains drawn! What a waste of people’s time driving here for a late drink. This is more and more becoming a mediocre Berni Inn than a pub. Stick to your effing opening hours!!! Myself and my wife & Family will now choose this pub as a last option! There is absolutely no entertainment, no darts no juke box no TVs (They play the same playlist over & over ) & a non regular customer has no say unless a LOCAL REGULAR arrives who will just wander in & grab the iPad from the bar & choose music, I take it there obviously bored of the same playlist too !! if you are not a regular though you are told no you cannot choose a song.. ? Last orders should be at 10:30 or 11 pm!! And certainly don’t tell customers that they’re not worth Serving as they may not drink as much to cover the electric bills!?!?! ?Then let one member of staff go home & Skeleton crew it, Or maybe some of the management could actually work a night shift!!(too good for that are we?) One last strange thing about this pub is you get decent portion of meat and Spuds, and a tiny inadequate serving of vegetables? Completely out of proportion. And if you ask for a decent amount of vegetables, they want to charge you more money. The bar staff are excellent. They are only told by the Management they must close early if there’s not a lot of custom. The staff are pretty friendly and bubbly, but chucking people out at 9:30 pm is not the way forward… it’s the backwards!!What kind of pub is this? That’s right, this is a LOCAL pub for LOCAL people. If you get my drift (league of gentleman) Like going back to 1964, apart from the fact that in 1964, they didn’t close before closing time.. so we we re-routed to a pub in Wigginton about 9.45pm and there was only one other person in there. They served us as one would expect! we arrived bought some drinks had a wonderful conversation with the bartender, and not once did they asked us to leave early. The cheek of the Full Moon management is off the scale.. they think they’re doing YOU a favour by having you as a customer…. Response to owner: No thanks! I’d rather leave an honest review than get into an altercation.. maybe just answer some of the points?

One of the best pub lunches I've had for a while. Monk fish wrapped in Parma ham on fish Friday. Good traditional country pub.

Popped in and immediately felt unwelcome. I suspect they didn't want children there as we had 2 with us. Spent over £30, staff were rude. Wanted to go here for ages - such a shame. I've never had an experience like it. Won't be going back.

This is a local pub for local people.Treated like an inconvenienceShoved in the tent, that smelt of wet dog. Tried to get a drink at the bar was told to wait , barmaid to busy talking to people already served. But luckily other staff member served and noticed. Constantly got dirty looks. Then because we brought a 12year old with us, we got told we had to pay extra. Refused the extra charge so loose change was given back.LOCAL PLACE LOCAL PEOPLE YOUR NOT WELCOME HERE

This is a beautiful country pub with great seating indoor and out. I haven't tried the food, but have heard it's good.

I often visit this pub for a fantastic breakfast when I can. It serves wonderful brunch dishes and the interior of the building is spectacular. I would honestly recommend this pub to everyone! They often run great events at this pub as well which is definitely worth checking out.

Went to the Full Moon for Sunday lunch. The rare roast beef was amazing and lots of it, crispy roast potatoes with a large selection of vegetables on the plate. The pub was warm and cosy with a beautiful log fire and the staff couldn’t do enough. If you like red wine try the Malbec which was a good quality, and you can’t say no to the puddings, sticky toffee pudding yum yum, we will definitely be going back.

The pub exudes a regrettable atmosphere due to an unwelcoming manager. Customer service suffers as the manager appears disinterested and overwhelmed, leaving a negative impression. Despite a pleasant group, the pub fails to create a hospitable environment, making it an uninviting choice for those seeking a warm and friendly experience.

Oh dear! Awful (rude) service and awful food. I had heard good things - I think I was lied to. The staff (proprietor?) couldn't have cared less.

Rather noisy. Maybe just there on the wrong night. Just before Christmas and a birthday celebration in progress. My inlaw's really like it.

Popped in for quick lunch. Nice cosy pub with good atmosphere. We were greeted and made to feel welcome. Ham, egg and chips well cooked. The ham was good and felt freshly carved, eggs nice and runny and good chips. The staff said goodbye as we left. A good experience and good value. Thank you Full Moon.
