The White Hart PH
Whelpley Hill, CheshamSolo visit for my birthday. Very welcoming. Attentive service with very polite waiting staff. I believe one of the waitresses had only two weeks in service so training and selection is clearly of a very high standard. Starter, main and drinks all excellent. The only disappointment was that I didn’t have room for dessert. I’ll be back.

The Golden Eagle
Chesham Rd, Ashley Green, CheshamWent for a Sunday lunch with friends (March 2024) after recommendation from locals that a new team had taken over and seemed to be making a success of it.Staff could not have been more helpful. The Sunday roast was delicious and the sticky toffee pudding was to die for.We sat inside next to the log burner but there is a large sunny garden for when it’s warmer. There is also a decent sized car park. We’ll be going back.(The photo is not mine but taken from online. There are currently road works outside with fencing that spoiled my photos, sorry)

The Drawingroom (restaurant&music venue)
Francis Yard, East St, CheshamThere is always a friendly greeting from the owner and also from the other guests there. The staff are always very vigilant, never once tripping up on the cobbled stones! The food, drinks and music never fail to please. Richard has created a very special space at the Drawingroom; whether you are on your own or with a crowd the atmosphere is a little bit of heaven. In short, what's not to like!!

The Tavern
96 The Broadway, CheshamLovely gem on the Chesham high street. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and a great choice of a breakfast menu and a lunch menu. I can highly recommend their smoothies. Dog friendly which is amazing. Indoor and outdoor seating. Not a huge place to eat at , but very popular so I would recommend you reserve a table if you want to visit on a Sunday for brunch. Toilets on site. Cannot fault this special find. Not far from the Chesham metropolitan tube line.Parking: The high street is pretty much a car free zone - so you will need to find parking elsewhere.

Brown Sugar
74 The Broadway, High St, CheshamAlways a pleasure to go in. Hot food and a Full English, breakfast with toast and 2 cups of tea for about £9.50 so just under a tenner, that’s pretty good. And also you could have substitutes of things like beans, instead of tomatoes and hashbrowns instead of mushrooms. And he won’t charge you extra which I think is really good.

Costa Coffee
31 High St, CheshamI know it’s Saturday but I found just a few choices of treats displayed. It’s quite busy so the staff should restore to let people order what they want.Apart from that, very good coffee and good food, love Costa brand!

Papad restaurant
131 Broad St, CheshamCan honestly say it's the best Indian restaurant I've been too. We have just moved to the area and have tried a couple but this one is in a different league. The food is beautifully cooked and atmosphere is lovely very homely and welcoming. We have dined in and had a takeaway and both times were fantastic. Would definitely recommend

Rocce Woodstone Pizza
50 Broad St, CheshamThe pizzas are absolutely delicious here. I recommend trying the different types instead of always going with the same one as they make some really nice pizza bases and toppings. I usually order online and collect it and they are always on time. The value for money is also better than the others in the area.

The pub is a great place to Watch the game as they have TV’s and sky sports. It’s nice to see all ages mingling together and enjoying a swift one and Liverpool playing Man U. Happy safe evening :)

Restaurant 1838
Church Ln, Latimer, CheshamWe ate at the restaurant whilst staying one night at the hotel to celebrate our 38th Wedding Anniversary. The food was excellent, but the service was slow. Also, when my wife asked for any type of non-alcoholic cocktail, we were told this was not possible, which was both disappointing and surprising for an establishment of this quality. However, at the end of the meal, when asked by the operations manager Seif to comment on the restaurant, I politely and gently shared my thoughts as above. Immediately, he apologised to my wife and arranged for a complementary virgin mohito to be made for her, which was beautifully made by Karina, who also produced a complimentary desert and a "hand-painted" chocolate sign wishing us a "Happy Anniversary". They also removed the cost of our desserts from the bill. Seif and Karina went beyond the call of duty to turn a slightly negative experience into a very positive one. Thank you.

Eat To The Beat Ltd
Unit 1, Symmetry Park, Laurenson Way, AylesburyWithout a doubt the best catering company ever, I have toured for years with Eat To The Beat feeding us and it's always special. The way you know ETTB is so good I'd when the pressure is on, as it was at the start of COVID-19. All touring music crew were laid off and a lot of us built hospitals. GIG provided is with food, and even on the tight budgets they faced the quality of the food never dropped. It is was and always will be the best.

Caffè Nero
66-69 The Broadway, CheshamI am now loving this cafe as my favourite in chesham but the toilet is terrible and smells worse than the one in the park. I wish they would get a crime scene type cleaner to reset it so it can be kept clean because it needs serious attention as the cleaning rota is always filled in.

Greggs
49 High St, CheshamVery typical of the Gregg’s chain providing a good selection of snacks and drinks at a reasonable price. This branch looks well maintained and kept clean and the staff are friendly and professional. It has a small area outside in the pedestrianised part of Chesham with four or five tables where you can sit and eat or drink your purchases.Recommended for a quick snack or lunch at reasonable prices but today’s standards.

Pizza Go Go
13 White Hill, CheshamExcellent. The pizza delicious according to my partner. As a coeliac (who doesn’t mind cross contamination) the twister fries and the bbq wings were SO good. The wings aren’t breadcrumbed and the twister fries are potato. Probably cooked in same oil but that doesn’t bother me. Lovely staff, great food.
