Two egg sandwiches, pot of tea for one and it cost £17.00 !!!! Sandwiches were lovely and fresh and the staff were pleasant and helpful, but £17:00 for 2small sandwiches and a handful of crisps is way overpriced. I think a bit of salad and some coleslaw would make the plate less bare!

Worst time ….. we had a coffee and tea two slices of cake. Sat down after paying £13 for it. Cake came ones slice was ok the other was so dry and hard I could use it for prop the table with. I gave it back to the staff and said you have another one. Well would you after one rock hard cake If your that hard up to keep stale cake. Well this customer will not be coming there again. So sad to see place go down hill fast

Really sorry chaps, had fish and chips today and in hindsight they were possibly the worst fish and chips I have ever had. Bear with me, it was edible but the batter was overcooked on the outside and underdone on the inside, the fish was bland and dry and the chips were not very hot and dry and boring. I got through five sachets of tomato sauce to give me some moisture. Sorry. Have eaten with you many times before but this meal did not work for me.

We called in for a break on our way home from Worcestershire to Cambridgeshire. We waited by the entrance to be shown to a table and a server came and took us to one, only to be be abruptly told we could not sit there and we could sit "over there". We looked at the menu and decide on drinks and a toasted teacake each. I went to the counter to order them and the young lad that was serving was very rude and seemed as if he was doing me a favour by actually taking my order. Obviously they are not too particular about customer service there. Thankfully, the young lady that served us was cheerful and polite ! We are likely to pass by in the future but we will not be stopping here for a break.

Had a full breakfast. But did not want mushrooms or tomato. I was not allowed to substitute with anything else. I asked for an extra egg instead of the 2 things and was told it would be an extra £1.50! So I only had two thirds of a full breakfast. But for the same price.

We have recently started visiting the café & love it. Often signs saying short staffed (very common problem in the café business everywhere since COVID) but the service is still quick & efficient & food is lovely. Looking forward to our next visit soon!Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie options.Wheelchair accessibility: Easily accessed with wheelchair

I come here regularly for a browse in the shop and lunch and it is always fantastic! The garden centre itself is lovely and staff are great and friendly. The restaurant NEVER lets one down. Even with change of staff. Consistently good food !!! For a fair price. My absolute favourite is Tuna Melt toasty. Never ever change the recipe please ;-).

Second visit and impressed once again - vast menu, lunches available from 11am which is great if you have kids and the food came quickly, was hot and tasty. The staff work really hard to constantly serve and clear tables, highly recommended ?

Every time we visit, on any day, the service stands out. All staff are clearly well trained and don’t stop for a minute. Tables are cleared quickly, drinks made and delivered at pace and you are never kept waiting long for food. Despite always being busy, this place runs like a well oiled machine. The food is always excellent too, but the praise has to go to the happy, polite and hardworking staff who make the experience what it is.

Popped in here for a late lunch today with my daughter and grandson. I had the soup of the day, my daughter had a tuna sandwich and my grandson the chicken, chips and peas kids meal. All of the food came fairly quickly, was good quality, hot and very reasonably priced. There was a really good variety of food available too. We'll definitely be going back. Afternoon tea looked well worth a try.

Two of us visited lunchtime today hoping for a Sunday roast vegetarian/vegan!No alternative protein in place of meat, not even veggie sausage - although on the breakfast menu? Hmm? Offered just the vegetables, ok how much less for the meal without the meat?NOTHING!!!Sorry this is really insulting for 2023!Vegetarian options: Insulting. No real options especially for Sunday roast.

Food is always nice service good apart from getting food before drinks. I do get frustrated that you cannot remove or change items on a breakfast. Very frustrating and funnily enough a gentlemen got angry and walked out as they would not remove the sausage from the breakfast. Such a waste! As he put it as he wasn’t going to eat it. Just cater for the needs of the customer maybe?

Garden centre restaurants are usually safe for a quiet and pleasant ambience and a decent light meal. We enjoyed our pit-stop here passing through on the A422. Nice airy atmosphere. A remarkably wide-ranging menu of light meals and sandwiches, plenty of staff. We loved it.

Just stopped off for tea and cake. The tea pot was a proper two cup size, not one of these mean one cup only jobs. I chose a brownie to go with and it was truly delicious, moist and chocolatey. I had so many brownies that are just like a dried tasteless sponge cake that this was a shock, it was so good. The earl grey tea was good too. I can't tell you about the other cakes, another time maybe.
