Smashing little pub in the old streets of Buckingham. The walk to and from the centre of town is interesting and the pub itself has a modern feel yet retains the charm of an old English pub. Staff were friendly and approachable. We didn't eat so can't make comment on the food.
Very fortunate to have this gem of a pub as our local. It caters for everyone young and old, everyone is welcome creating a fabulous atmosphere. Award winning real ale provider, live music, TV's for all the major sporting events that can be watched in the cosy bar or outside under the fantastic canvas tent.No food provided (except for events), but don't let that be a problem, just bring your own or have it delivered by a local supplier.Peter the landlord is a star. Best pub in Buckingham by far! Great ales, great gins, lovely undercover garden and lots of space. Always made to feel welcome and the manager is a legend esp when he’s had a beer and gets on the piano! Also they show the big sports matches on several screens.
