My daughter and I arrived at The Ethorpe just after 10am on Mother’s Day.. the restaurant was virtually empty. We were dismissed quite rudely that they are not taking walk ins! I pointed out that you are not busy.. on our way out, I asked to speak to the manager, a lady on reception said I could speak to her.. only to be told the same.. bad, rude service. We are regular customers of the Ethorpe.. will be finding somewhere else to dine.. btw.. this is the second time this has happened… we had similar incident at the end of January.

We were served by Kelly for Mother's Day- the Sunday roast was delicious. There was a great range of veggie/vegan options and the service was speedy. Kelly went above and beyond on a very busy day, even put our bouquet in water. Lovely lunch overall!

Rooms N/A as we came for a meal, but service was lovely. We were served by Kelly who was very attentive and helpful with any questions I had about the meal. One thing I would say however was food was a bit slow, but as it was mothers day, I appreciate the fact that it took longer.

Visited on the 28th January 2024, we waited 30 mins for our drinks and food order to be taken, when the food arrived it was missing items and wasn't hot. The waiting staff weren't very welcoming.

Very nice restaurant but we had to wait 35 minutes for our food to arrive, when the food finally arrived it wasn't that warm which was disappointing.
