My partner and I are regulars at the Ethorpe and we can't understand the negative reviews - this is a wonderful venue. We eat at the Ethorpe regularly and the food is excellent along with the service (particularly from Michael). Decent staff and food at the restaurant.Really down by the parking situation- Run by EuroCar parks with inadequate signage instead of being owned by the hotel. Received a parking fine as a result which EuroCar rejected on the appeals process as I imagine guests failing to be informed regarding the parking situation is a normal occurrence. A great New Year's eve lunch. Nice & flat for disabled guests, my father in-law was looked after by the staff in order to get seated & when visiting the toilets. The food was good & not a bad ale ? on tap.Food & drinks: Chef & brewer so normally fairly good grub.
