We had my dad's wake at this establishment. Both Josh and Jake listened to our requirements and were able to met our expectations with flying colours. The service and food was 5 *. Ideal location for any venue. Well done lads and other staff, we will be back again, keep up the good work.

Came in to the black horse when we were passing and decided to stop in for a drink and a bite to eat. We had a chicken burger and bbq chicken wings and food was amazing. Good sized portions with really tasty food. Compliment to the chef. Jake and Georgie on the bar were so friendly and chatty really added to the experience we had here. Service was quick we didn't have to wait long at all. Would absolutely recommend the black horse to anyone. Great food, great drinks and a great atmosphere all round! I will definitely be back

Went for an impromptu roast, having never been here before. Despite it being at the end of the service the team were very obliging and friendly. And food was very nice too. Will definitely go

My friends and I visited this pub for dinner tonight and had a wonderful experience. We sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed the lovely views. The garden is very spacious but also felt super cosy and sweet when the lights went on outside. Kenyeh served us and we experienced outstanding service, she always checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing, it was a "Burger Special" night and we all enjoyed every bite. I would highly recommend this pub to anyone!

Nice to see the pub open again, nicely refurbished, clean and tidy and an enjoyable pint to be had.

I stopped off here whilst on a dog walk and was welcomed by polite and friendly staff. Pub is dog friendly and has amazingly spacious well kept grounds for visitors and dogs! I caught the end of a live music set in the garden which was very good and clearly enjoyed by the other customers. Service was great as were the drinks and facilities. I am looking forward to attending some of their events on this year!

Arguably the best pub in Great Missenden and certainly my favourite. So pleased to see it open and running again after it was so sadly left empty for a while. They are back to doing what the Black Horse in Great Missenden does best: events, live music, hot air balloons and great food in a beautiful pub, surrounded by countryside - The perfect location for Sunday lunch with a pint followed by a walk up the hill across the fields, to see the surrounding view. We luckily stopped by the same day they had their new chef starting and I must say, the food was all of it perfectly cooked. Best roast dinner I can remember having since a Christmas at sime point ?. Thank you chef! I have genuinely been going on about it all day. Long live the Black Horse!
