First visit since the recent referb. They've done a great job injecting new life into a great pub in a great location. Serving really good roasts at the weekend, which wasn't apparent looking online at the time of writing

It was a real and immersive experience in an English pub who made the story of this beautiful village The Lee. Highly recommended.

Visited with a friend who lives locally. Within minutes of arriving, we were warmly invited to the main bar next to the roaring log fire. Got chatting to a man, his son-in-law and two others. Had a lovely evening. New landlord Oliver and barman Henry, a sporting aficionado, couldn’t be more welcoming. Will visit the next time I’m in Great Missenden. Thumbs up.
Went to the cafe attached to the pub which is a great addition. Great pit stop for dog walkers etc. Coffee, cake

This pub was taken over and reopened about a year ago, much to the delight of locals. The new owners have positioned it right at the heart of the local community, getting the business up and running in carefully planned stages. We walked over one sunny morning and enjoyed a delicious coffee and cake in their “Cafe au Lee” (see what they did there?!). My americano was very good and the locally made cake (a choice of about 8) was really yummy. We then popped into the bar to try that too, and had a couple of halves … one beer and one lager, both from the Rebellion brewery at Marlow and both very good. The food offering is limited until they get their kitchen fully up and running, but what they do seems to be very good. They are very supportive of local initiatives and events, and deserve every success. We will definitely be going back. It is fabulous to have such a good independent pub locally once again.

Stop for a rather excellent coffee. Didn't have a cake but they looked great. Really nice decor after the recent referb.

Excellent Pint and service!Pretty good on price for coffee and cake too.I like what they have done with the refurbishment. Good stuff looks very clean and presentable in the front bar too.WiFi available in the pub which is excellent and it does work in some areas outside in the bear garden but near the pub. Pretty fast speed too. They do good BBQ's I have heard so will be good to savour one at some point.Good stuff. :-)
