Always been busy Fridays and weekends, to be fair I had forgotten about the Dash wood till recently, just as I left it only with new management and staff. Food is very good and well presented as are the staff.

Fantastic place, nice atmosphere, big area to enjoy inside or out in the terrace. The food is amazing with big portions.The service needs to adjust a bit more and it would be perfect. It, sometimes, takes a bit too long to be served.Apart of that, all is good.

Went for a roast with the girls yesterday and had a fabulous lunch, I had the lamb and there was so much meat which just fell apart! Loads of veg and the gravy was delicious! We followed it with some apple pie and custard washed down with lots of wine so to only be £50 each all in was even better! Will definitely be back!

Fab lunch there today, big portion too.I have to say it was by far the best music we have ever heard in a pub, just great. So many pubs inflict dreadful monotonous thumping beat music on their customers so well done to The Roadhouse.Parking: Plenty of parking

Britstop user, stop off travelling from the Lake District on the way home, staff friendly and helpful, a busy pub, the locals are friendly, good food and beer, would recommend going to this pub.

Our family of eight visited the Dashwood Roadhouse. It is a pub with a lot of atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and inviting. There is plenty of seating inside, and they have developed an outdoor area too, which has lots of seating under cover.We enjoyed our visit and had the pizza too, which were fairly nice.There is a car park and parking on the road too, so very accessible.Prices are very reasonable. Well worth a visit, we would certainly come again.

Fantastic spot.Friends managed to drag me out of the house and this was the venue.All of the food coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. I will be back to try the enormous rack of ribs and the chicken skewer kebab for sure. And a few pizzas.

Given the recommendation in Trip Advisor, on arrival the DA was more basic than I expected. I was concerned as I went in that it was not busy, so maybe not so good. I went there on the recommendation of the DA’s fish and chips but I did not see it on the menu. I was recommended the chicken kebab instead. It was excellent, as was the salad (very fresh) and the chips that came with it, plus a generous helping of sauces. The beer was damn good too (Smugglers). Add to that excellent service and I had a very good lunch, thank you. One star deducted because some new chairs would make the sitting experience better. For all the rest I recommend the DA.

Amazing atmosphere very welcoming , welcoming staff , very inclusive ,good food simetimes a hut overcooked the steak is , good portions , all round great atmosphere highly recommend,better than the other local pubs such as the chequers and the grouse
Went to see ? live band (Ska souls) and loved it. Great value food. Wonderful atmosphere. Service was a bit slow but it was very busy. Would go back for sure.

Fabulous food, advisable to book in advance. If you want the chicken on the skewers get there early. They had run out at 1pm on a Sunday when I went. My partner thinks there cider Lily's Gladiator is the best ever ??Parking: Car park gets full very quickly but you can do off street parking. Some customers parked very badly when I was there causing an obstruction to the entrance

First time there stopped initially just to have a cold drink and check it out ...but ended up having a fantastic Sunday lunch ,wow what great food ,service ( fitting us in before the reserved tables where taken) and an awesome atmosphere with decent music! Definitely coming again ,5 Star thankyou Dashwood Roadhouse!

We had ribs which were really disappointing. They looked good but were dry and overcooked and served with sauce just poured over the top and sat on some really anaemic chips. Definitely not to be recommended.
