The service was wonderful. The whole staff especially the manager Tom was so attentive and accommodating. The food was excellent! I had slow braised pork, and it was cooked perfectly. Dessert was also delicious and the cappuccino is one of the best I’ve had lately.Overall, this was an incredible dining experience. Highly recommended. Would definitely visit again.

We needed a venue for a lunchtime family gathering that was going to be an equidistant drive from Norwich, Bath, and Eastbourne! On a practical note it was perfect, an adjacent good-sized car park, wheelchair access and easy access disabled toilet. But the excellent welcome, food and service was an added bonus - even worth travelling 3 hours for! No hesitation in recommending the Grouse and Ale very highly.

We booked dinner for a family reunion we always enjoy the weekend after New Year. Again, the Grouse & Ale did not disappoint! Tom was our host and he was brilliant! Lighthearted banter with the group, precise review of each order, drinks served promptly. The food was divine and the wine choices were superb. The bar staff were friendly and efficient.
