On visiting Worcester Blackpole retail WR3 a few incidents occurred some more serious. The que was quite slow and long whilst the staff where hugging each other and when a gentleman in the que mentioned he would like to be served whilst staff where having a 'jolly', a male member of staff retorted and told him to calm down.There was a few flys around the cakes and when pointed out the female pay person shrugged and responded what do you want me to about it.However the most serious one was one of the two fire exits on the shop floor was locked and then a drinks barrier was placed in front of it preventing safety access in or out, when asked why this was done again a could not careless attitude was taken and was actually said what difference does it make!Lives peoples lives is the difference. She also stated it was on the say of her manageress. Healthy and safety to all customers is paramount.

Costa branches are fine, but the Express machines are damaging the brand loyalty. I've switched over to Starbucks machines as the quality is much better. I was always loyal to Costa until my two local express machines experienced issues that after a month of inaction, still haven't been resolved. CO-OP M50 3XP, the machine closest to home, hasn't had any large cups for over a month, and Tesco SK3 0PW, closest to work, hasn't had a working machine for over a month after they removed the last one, moved in a new one and can't get anyone out to install it. Obviously can't retain people.

i spoke to someone at costa in barnstaple north devon. my order was all wrong but they sent me a sausage BAP, instead of a bacon BAP and I am allergic to sausage and I took a bite. The lady at Costa wasn’t bothered push the blame onto the drivers, saying they should have checked the food, even though Costa put the receipt in the bag. epiPen!!!!!!! and when I complained to Costa, they put the phone down on me. I’ve tried ringing the head office and the wrong number. Absolutely shocking that you cannot reach Costa and absolutely shocking. The phone down on me after allergic reaction.

Not even worth 1 star, Boycott Costa!!!. A company that advertises to young girls and women about the removal of healthy breasts is disgusting. Not even a thought about women who have had their breasts removed for cancer. Shameful act by a woke company that i hope looses billions. Lost my custom and many others i hope. Shocking act to promote un natural mutilation of bodies over a mental health illness.

I visited the St Albans costa today & I'm so impressed with the service I received by the manager who served me. She was so polite & very efficient at her job. She's got the shop looking very gd & the staff there are vert polite & also efficient. They make you feel welcome & very prompt with serving you. I've been there before & again the staff ate very polite & make you feel welcome. I will be visiting it in the near future.

whilst my husband was in the Royal Derby Hospital, I have used this coffee shop a lot with no issues & spent quite a substantial amount of money in there, however today I took my husband in who is currently recovering from having half of his left lung removed due to cancer and what unfolded you would not believe, even now come evening time I'm so very very upset and angry.I was asked as normal by the assistant what can I get you, I proceeded to order with him one small latte, one small mango frappe, one sausage cob and one round of toast. He said I'll do your drinks and my colleague will sort your food. He then told me how much I had to pay, I paid him. My drinks were on the tray so he could clearly see them as I even put the cash on the tray to pay and I said I'll come back for my hot food, she said no we will bring it to you. She brought over my hot food and said we hadn't paid for my husbands drink. I said that I had paid £8.61 and wasn't aware there had been an underpayment, the guy behind the till gave me the drinks and charged me, I did not think anything of it, besides I'm dealing with my very unwell husband at the time with half his lung missing in discomfort in his chest area due to his operation. At this stage I asked if there was a problem I would come to the till to sort it but could we just eat our food before it was cold, because by now it was cold and that I would come and pay what ever they had under charged me for, bearing in mind I didn't even know they had undercharged me I didn't realise you were meant to self serve and add everything up for yourself! The next thing I know is this young girl came across to our table having a real go at us shouting at us, "You haven't paid for that drink", I then said that we had said we didn't know we had not paid for it and could we come and pay at the till when we had finished out food, "no" she shouted and at that she learnt straight across the front of my husband and just snatched his drink from in front of him, my goodness I have never been so disgusted in all of my life at such appalling treatment, she was apparently the manager, obviously no customer service skills what so ever they are serving people who are going through real trauma and this is the best they can offer! Also my husband was still suffering pain in his chest and had stitches, She then called two security guards over, this is all happening whilst full of other people eating and drinking around us. I explained to the security guards we we not aware of the underpayment as I'm not in the habit of standing trying to read a menu that rotates constantly, people all in the queue also pushing forward to order, total chaos and the customer is supposed to know they haven't charged you correctly and done their job correctly and then to be shouted down and embarrassed and treated like criminals in front of the whole coffee shop, disgraceful, shame on you costa and your staff. This was not the end of the story, whilst walking my husband back to the car I heard from behind someone shouting "Excuse me Excuse me" well I could not believe my eyes, it was only the manager again with another lady who carried on at us again about the issue, bearing in mind they had the so called un paid for drink back, remember they snatched it from my husband! she then told me never to come into the coffee shop again, I stopped her there and said "You must be joking, I'll never set foot in it ever again" to be treated so badly I think both my husband and I are still in shock over it, can't believe the incident even happened, SHAME ON YOU COSTA! and to top it all I have been trying ever since it happened to contact someone by telephone to complain in person, but have a guess what, you can't get through. Very poor company and appalling treatment by staff members dealing with hospital patients in this way, simply unforgivable!!!!

Tried to complain about food quality online but after 1 hour I gave up so I tried several phone numbers none worked so don’t waste your time like I’ve done 2 hours of my life lost.

I went to costa facing homebase on Boucher road and they were so unhelpful no ice for any cold coffee and give me an Americano instead of a salted cameral coffee, very poor service Sunday 10th July

Excellent Customer ServiceI made a visit to the Next Store at Handy Cross, High Wycombe on Saturday 13th October 2018 at about 1330hrs.In my travels around the country I visit Costar Coffee many times from Motorway Services, Rail Stations to High Street Shops and notice the Staff that give good customer service.I would like to congratulate KAYLA who in my opinion gave excellent service, considerate, caring and always with a smile, she worked at speed efficiently even helping her colleagues with her experience, if she is not the Manager she needs to be given an opportunity.Well done KAYLA and good luck with your future, you’re a ‘Star’Graham & Kathleen Liggins
