Anybody who knows a tad about food would know that the food is well below acceptable, tasteless bland poorly presented and overpriced. Chef needs to go back to college,if he went in the first place . Service and restaurant surroundings good enough. I certainly will not return.

Awesome family run business. Food was cooked to perfection, big portions too which I was not expecting! Greta value…will definitely be coming again. Whoohoo ?

Dear Ana and team We haven't had this moment until now to thank you properly following our wedding reception at 'La Cantina Del Vino' on Sunday 28th May. We wish to extend our thanks & appreciation to the chefs who delivered on beautiful plates, all starters and mains were delicious and beautifully presented; to all the staff on the day who were very polite & and welcoming, and to you and your team for preparing the set up up before arrival, it all looked fantastic. Some lovely comments from our guests:- "The meal at the restaurant in Marlow was excellent and we thought the restaurant staff backed up the food with wonderful welcoming service". "Amazing food" My Mum said she loved the music you played when all guests were settling into seats. "Magnificent event in lovely cosy restaurant" " The love barn with delicious food" Andrea's brother Lorenzo published a complimentary review. Andrea and I would like to reflect our thanks to you and your staff for making it such a wonderful occasion for us. It was wonderful!!

Nice food done well. Fairly basic recipes but really tasty. Well chosen music, nice art and decoration. Bit light on vegetarian choices - hence missed 5*

Top marks for this restaurant, food, wine and service all excellent and a terrific ambience as well. Quirky interior houses a team at the peak of their game. Welcoming, friendly, helpful and engaging. The food was delicious, typical of Italian food apparently simple but packing a flavour punch. Whilst the a la carte is more than ample to provide a choice for every taste, we went "off piste" choosing from the excellently described specials. The only tiny, repeat tiny gripe is that prices are not given. Favourites, although difficult to pick amongst such exalted company; the scallops, the hake special and the very reasonably priced Montepulciano Go, enjoy, Squisito!

The restaurant is set back from the main road so do make a point of checking out Morris Place. Delightful welcome on arrival - restaurant was lovely and warm as was the atmosphere. Lots of locals eating here which is always a good sign. Very good choice of dishes whether it be for the starters, main or sweet. we were a party of 4 and all of us agreed it was the best Italian we had experienced in this country. We reside is Scotland but when we are back again in Marlow we will certainly return.

What a fantastic place, and superb food, I am going back ASAP, I loved it. We had gone through the tapas menu, I am taking my grandson back for his birthday, we want to try the steak.

4 of us visited Marlow for a weekend in December and pre booked La Cantina based on good reviews. Actually booked it a few weeks before our stay and it coincided with the England v France World Cup game. Table was booked for 7:30 ! Of course us boys wanted to see the game so i rang a few days before to see if i could change the timing. Spoke to a lovely lady guessed the reason and said it was no problem and could accommodate us around 6pm. Arrived and we were not the only ones there. Lovely setting. We chose from the 3 course Xmas menu. Food was fantastic. Bottle of the house red was fine (£22) Coffees and limoncello to finish. Lovely meal. £135 per couple incl sc. We thought fair. A lovely evening...apart from the football !

Family meal for a birthday, slow service, rude staff for about an average meal. Definitely won’t be rush back in a hurry

Warm, uplifting atmosphere. Food was tasty. Just too rich for my taste, to put it bluntly too high in fat. If you like that then go for it. On balance would still go again.

This is one of our favourite restaurants and with good reason. Today we ate from their Christmas lunch menus, £27.50 for two courses, more expensive than their normal lunch menu but worth it for the superb choices and professional, friendly service. Can’t wait to go back.

For me, this is a solid choice in Marlow. The service is good. The food is good. It’s a great Italian menu, with tempting specials. It sometimes feels like eating abroad: not pretentious, just good food, done well, at a reasonable price. There are some superb options in Marlow and in my experience for some of those it’s worth joining the waiting list. Go here while you wait; you’ll be well fed and looked after! I’ll keep coming back.
