Glaze Restaurant at Crowne Plaza Marlow
Crowne Plaza Marlow, Fieldhouse Lane, MarlowWe had a wonderful visit at the Crown Plaza over the Christmas period staying for 5 days. We had Breakfast every day and it was a pleasure to see Bridget every morning who greeted us with a lovely smile and was very interested in what we were doing every day of our stay. She also served us in the bar a few times and was always very pleasant. We stayed in the hotel again at the beginning of January and once again met up with Bridget who recognised us straightaway and gave us the same wonderful service.

Strawberry Grove Marlow
91 High St, MarlowThe salt beef bagel is so good I wish I’d never had it.I’d love to share a photo, but the fact I haven’t is proof enough of how unbelievable this food is.We ordered two salt beef bagels to take out and even though the kitchen had closed, there were two hot and ready to go bagels waiting….My intention was to eat it when settled, but alas, I scoffed it in what I’d call an embarrassingly animalistic way whilst navigating my way through the Marlow traffic.I then went on to order the same.I’d order this every single day of my life.No food tastes good anymore. This is the best salt beef bagel I’ve had.And yes, I’m going out there and stating it beats Brick Lane.Perfect combo of mustard, pickles and beef. The bagel is the perfect combo of soft and yet toasted.Incredible service, always with a smile.I’m just gutted that I can’t eat this three times a day, everyday.Perfect ♥️

Sindhu by Atul Kochhar
The Compleat Angler, Marlow Bridge, Marlow Bridge Ln, Bisham, MarlowArriving at the hotel in which the restaurant is situated, we had the amazing view of the river and entered the hotel to be welcomed by the staff with happy faces. The staff took us to our seats and were very accommodating of my coconut allergy. They took our order and we enjoyed the view of the river.Shortly after this, the poppadoms were placed before us. These were amazing, I was pleasantly surprised when the smaller poppadoms just melted in my mouth. The chutneys both had an amazing flavour. This was then followed by the starter, the chicken tikka was beautifully moist, with a little kick of spice to it.Then the mains came and the lamb was beautifully tender and the curry was fragrant. The naans also came and they were really nice with the cheese melted just right to get that stringy effect. The puddings came and it was very nice, the honeycomb on the Rasmalai was a nice touch and the vanilla ice cream was very rich and creamy. The drinks we had through the meal were very nice, the mango lassi wasn’t too thick and the mojito was flavoursome and the chilli didn’t make it too spicy.Overall, an amazing meal with amazingly attentive staff. I would definitely recommend eating here.Dietary restrictions: They were very happy to accommodate to my coconut allergy .Parking: There were numerous amounts of parking. Two electric car parking spaces and a good amount of disabled parking. If not a patron of the hotel or the restaurants, you will be charged £10.

The Duke
19 Queen's Rd, MarlowWe ordered a takeaway for the family on Thursday evening… it was available to pick up, at 20 minutes notice… The starters were good and we especially liked the house special garlic ribs… The dry shredded chilli beef was not very crispy, maybe it should be served separately to the sauce? However the chicken balls, served in a paper bag, with separate sauce, were very crispy; just like the old days…. Dishes had a reasonable amount of spice/chilli which was good, esp the Singapore noodles… Will we order again? Yes…

The Ivy Marlow Garden
66-68 High St, MarlowI suppose I went expecting some wow… you know , you taste a mouthful and then are just amazed at how lovely it is and share with your friends ?It’s not that .It’s a reasonable enough restaurant , but it’s not great value and it’s not wow . £50 per head with one drink each … so mainly food cost … mains for £24-35 each .. you do expect either wow , or generous .It was alright … big let down was service , with a disinterested waitress , so we didn’t pay the 12.5% they had added to the bill !We left something but we decided how much . It wasn’t £40 extra for the service that’s for sure .Biggest let down was the Malaysian monkfish curry .5 pieces of monk fish the size of a 50 pence , in a nice sauce but it wasn’t curry … if I had paid £12/15 for it I might not have minded but at £24 I expected more .Over all , ok , but don’t go expecting fantastic food , unless a great culinary experience for you , is Greggs .

Marlow Tandoori
Unit B, Meter House, Fieldhouse Ln, MarlowBest takeaway I’ve ever had and has been so for a very long time. Food quality is excellent and the flavours magnificent. Saajid will cook to your taste and I often have lamb bhoona “slightly hot” and it is wondrous. Lamb meat quality is exceptional which often is not the case in other restaurants or takeaways. I can heartily recommend the onion bhajis, naans and rice quality. Chicken madras and korai chicken are two more of my favourites in a great variety. I use it weekly it’s that good.

Aqua Bar & Conservatory
Crowne Plaza Marlow, Fieldhouse Lane, MarlowI had lunch here last week, and do so a few times a year. I have to say that things are improving. It used to look like an airport departure terminal but they have changed the furniture and layout to give more variety and it's a massive improvement. Last time I visited (a couple of months ago) our Pepsi's were flat and our server almost refused to believe that this could be the case; but we had much better service on this occasion and I'm glad to report that the Pepsi was fizzy! I like the Conservatory area as it is spacious, bright and good for social distancing; but I see that they've also now put in a table area in the main restaurant, with plug sockets which appeared to be very popular for working at, when I visited. My dining companions' burgers looked great, but my Mac n' Cheese whilst tasting pretty good, was tiny and only a starter size which was really disappointing. Anyway, the general trajectory of this place appears to be up, which is good news.

Bisham Rd, Bisham, MarlowService was very good . David the maitre d’ was very attentive and friendly. Location by the weir is fantastic. It would have been nice if lights outside had been on. The food was overall good. The starters were really nice and well presented particularly the cullen skink. Most of the main courses were great particularly the Aubergine and Sherherd’s pie. The fish and chips weren’t great the batter being soggy and the chips being tasteless frozen chips Overall however a pleasant experience with a good range on the wine list

The Hand and Flowers
126 West St, MarlowStunning country style pub with the most amazing food and staff. From the moment we stepped inside, we were made to feel very welcome. We were shown to our table and a drinks order was taken while we looked at the menu.Unlike most Michelin Star places I’ve been to it wasn’t a set taster menu but we had a choice of 4 (of each) starters, mains and deserts. After we made our choices we were brought some homemade sourdough bread with 2 different butters and a lovely, fresh sausage roll ?.At no point were we rushed. The gaps between courses were just right. The table staff were very attentive and was always available when required and they kept the drinks flowing at just the right pace ?.Each of the courses we had was prepared to perfection, the flavours complemented each other and included some surprises like pickled cucumber (game changer) and squid lasagne (amazing).I chose to have courses that I probably would not have normally chosen to have and I wasn’t left disappointed. Even the buttered greens and mash potato, which i definitely would not have usually picked for my meal were amazing.Would I recommend the Hand & Flowers, 100%.Would I go back, yes definitely. Was it worth the money, every single penny.

4a, Brucewood Parade, Marlow Btm, MarlowWe discovered Tin Town coffee yesterday and we're so glad we did! We were visiting a local business and we went here for lunch. The coffee was excellent, hot and strong and the bacon ciabatta was delicious, in fact we were sorry when it was finished! The staff were all very friendly and we looked at some old photographs of the local area and the tin roofed houses from years ago, hence the cafe's unusual name. There was a nice seating area outside but it was quite hot so we sat inside where there was air conditioning. Plenty of tables and obviously a favourite with the locals.
