Very friendly reception staff and great location.Only downside is the parking but it is only a short walk to the pay and display car park down the road.

Very large room, also had air con which was very much appreciated in the recent heat wave over the weekend. We went down for breakfast at 7am and the chef had not yet arrived - restaurant manager apologised and refunded our breakfast which was really nice. Very good customer service. Staff all friendly and acknowledged us. Would recommend if you're in the area.

Good Premier Inn - our room was pretty spacious and standard for a Premier Inn in terms of furnishings, but with the added bonus of an air-con unit which was appreciated. The food was great and the staff were all very helpful - restaurant manager didn't hesitate to refund our breakfast 1 morning due to the chef being late in.

Comfortable one-night stay with very accommodating staff. They allowed us to check-in early and provided us with an ironing board and extra towels. Very hospitable and friendly atmosphere, the room was spacious and well equipped. Be aware that there is no elevator and the stairs are quite narrow.

A Premier Inn that possibly suffers from planning permission regulations due to it being shoe horned into a old existing building, note there is no lift. My room was OK, had a funny smell to it, windows opened and air con works great. Staff were very freindly. Breakfast was great, note a hot breakfast is not a buffet which has its advantages but prepare to wait a bit longer, if you're in a hurry add an extra 10 minutes needed onto breakfast. Parking outside is very limited. Great location, plenty of bars and restaurants in the area, a really beautiful spot in a lovely town.

Don't often leave awful reviews but this place is unbelievable. Went with a friend who's room didn't lock, was told it locks from the inside as if that's a solution. Offered to keep stuff at reception. Then he went back in the room later as he'd left something and the receptionist was asleep on the bed. Heating barely worked, and didn't at all in his room. Windows drafty. Hot water not reliable. Unlimited breakfast buffet was not a buffet - just someone taking your order and bringing out a disappointing plate of food. Wouldn't recommend at all - shocking for a Premier inn
