My favourite spot in Marlow.

The food was incredible. Surpassed our expectation. We sat at the bar, which was actually an excellent experience and Kristina, our waitress, was vibrant, knowledgeable and made our evening even more enjoyable!

Don’t recommend for a large party. Junior servers very accommodating, senior staff did not make us feel welcome. They say they can do vegan on request but don’t bother, you will end up with lightly seasoned lettuce. Honestly shocked.it has a Michelin star. Private dining room felt like a corridor surrounded by fire exits.Vegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian is underwhelming. Salad was an ice gem with a teaspoon of vinaigrette

We dropped in for drinks mid afternoon and were very welcome to sit at the bar. The staff were lovely and not at all rushing you. We will definitely return for the

Marlow is truly a charming treasure of a town. It’s just a little over an hour’s drive from the hustle and bustle of central London. Highly recommend a weekend road trip for a delightful lunch or dinner to change up the scenery. The Coach and Hand and Flower are sister establishments, both adorable wooden pubs with a distinct British flair. They exude an authentic and rustic charm with a touch of sophistication.Upon entering, I discovered that The Coach holds a well-deserved Michelin star for several years. Unlike Hand and Flower, The Coach serves dishes in small tapas-style portions. The open kitchen behind the bar operates with impressive orderliness.? I strongly recommend The Coach Burger with Smoked Cheddar, Cola Braised Beef, and Dill Pickle. I’m not a huge burger fan, but this petite yet towering creation was so delicious that we ended up ordering another round! A steak patty topped with cheese, crispy potato cake, Cola Braised Beef, Pickle Cabbage, and Dill Pickle, all sandwiched between a buttery bun – the combination is a symphony of textures and flavors, rich and juicy! As we were leaving, we noticed the Whole Stuffed Rotisserie Quail with Haggis, Peppered Swede, and Whisky ordered at the neighboring table, and it looked incredibly tempting! Planning to try it on our next visit!

What a wonderful experience we had at The Coach! Highly recommend this over the Hand & Flowers as it allows you more variety to choose from and experience. The service staff were incredible and so lovely! We will be back soon!

A truly spectacular restaurant with excelent quality food, top notch service, and a lovely atmostphere. The vegetarian options are varied and absolutely delicious. We were especially pleased with the waiter who caught that we ordered a desert with a meaty ingredient and stopped us ordering it.Also... great beer - get the Rebellion Roasted Nuts.

Sat at the bar, it was a wonderful date night hosted by a fantastic server called ewan.We both enjoyed good visibility into the kitchen watching the food be prepared. The food itself was exquisite, I would personally recommend the pigs head and the beef suet pudding.Top notch.

I took my young son to this restaurant as he is moving to Marlow, and I heard that this restaurant has a Michelin. We went for a lunch. You can definitely tell this place has a sterling reputation as it is very popular and busy. The food is first class and the service was attentive and friendly. My son really enjoyed it. You can definitely take children here. Especially enjoyed the open kitchen. I will definitely be visiting again. I thought the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of the food.

Great first visit.

Saw online this place has a Michelin star and they offer 2 course lunch for £15 so thought it would be worth giving it a try and right we were! Greeted by friendly staff upon entrance. Don't particularly like sitting on high tables but these were comfy. Waitress was knowledgeable with the wine menu - always helpful. Food was top top tier. Broccoli soup for starters that came with a breadstick which had melted Stilton on it. Mains was a fish pie of sorts which was very nice and the crust was cooked to perfection. Would recommend anyone a visit for a spot of lunch on a Monday afternoon.

Really gone down hill which is a huge shame. Presentation and service was a let down.

I found the whole experience a bit disappointing. I had the fish which was absolutely tiny and quite greasy and my husband had the ribeye Sunday dinner again a bit on the stingy side. The meat was tasty, but they have a very strange way of presenting everything you have to get sides as if they're main courses. It was expensive £91 for two people not great value and I'm afraid there won't be going back staff, however were lovely

Service was good BUT unfortunately the food was way below expectations especially for a Michelin Starred restaurant run by the 'Young Chef of the Year 2023'! I expected great but got mediocre instead. The food looked a lot better than they tasted to be honest. Really really disappointed. One bright spark though... The Triple Cooked Chips were fantastic!
