43 years since last visit. Taught at Pembroke school. It was our Fridays lunchtime local. So as I remember. Great

Such a fabulous experience having lunch in this quaint little pub. Lunch any day is a treat, but Sunday lunch is amazing too. The puddings are outstanding and the apple and rhubarb crumble is not to be missed. A fantastic landlord and landlady duo, that are so warm & welcoming and who take great care and pride in their lovely little pub. A truly lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Excellent overall. Food was great quality for the price. Cozy older building, so watch your head if you are more than 5 foot tall.

Just stopped for a couple of beers. The garden is beautiful. The welcome was great but best of all the beer was really fine.

The pub is located just on a bit of a higher ground where you have the amazing views of the local fields of Flackwell Heath. Their garden is full of beautiful flowers, pots and hanging baskets everywhere. It's a very nice place to go to enjoy lovely food and drinks with a view. Very friendly service, highly recommend it.

Lived in the Maidenhead area for 40 odd years but never been to this Pub before. Very picturesque garden and extensive lunch only menu (no food available in the evening is my recollection). Very polite and accommodating Landlord and wife. Good beer and service.
