“First time there. I asked for two egg and bacon sandwiches with runny eggs and crispy bacon. Eggs were not at all runny, but the bacon was nice and crispy and good tasty. Came wrapped in aluminium foil. Had to wait a little while because of a queue of 4 people in front of me. The cost for the 2 sandwiches was £10.00. The place was very clean. I think the youngsters serving will go a long way.”

“Stayed for 5 nights last week in a single without en-suite, which was clean and comfortable, with a sink, TV and hot drink facilities in the room, and the choice of separate shower or bathrooms along the hall.Downstairs in the bar was the welcome, service and atmosphere of a real, old fashioned local pub.The owners, staff and local patrons made my stay so enjoyable that I was genuinely sorry to leave.Good beer, gorgeous food, an open wood fire, loved it!Stayed for work purposes but will be coming back in the Spring/Summer for leisure.”
