Stayed for 5 nights last week in a single without en-suite, which was clean and comfortable, with a sink, TV and hot drink facilities in the room, and the choice of separate shower or bathrooms along the hall.Downstairs in the bar was the welcome, service and atmosphere of a real, old fashioned local pub.The owners, staff and local patrons made my stay so enjoyable that I was genuinely sorry to leave.Good beer, gorgeous food, an open wood fire, loved it!Stayed for work purposes...read full review

Old freehouse in the heart of Drayton Parslow warm welcome from the landlady very friendly and helpful the pub has 2 bars the left room is a games room with pool table and dart board only 50p for a game of pool and the right room is the lounge toilets are clean i visited today as I was walking in the countryside I played 4 games of pool and brought a diet coke and beef crisps I hope to return to this fantastic pub in the future

We were here for only one night but would have been willing to stay for longer. Our room was on the ground floor with access directly from the street. It was clean and comfortable as well as warm. Unfortunately, this hotel does not offer dining on a Sunday evening so we had to find elsewhere for dinner.
