Came here a few weeks ago and ordered lasagne, it came burnt black and the knife couldn't even cut into it so I sent it back. Ordered lasagne again today and it was the same, burnt black and again the knife couldn't even cut into it so I sent it back. I was then told by their staff that I'm banned from ordering lasagne again (like a naughty child)! I did mention that if they didn't burn it to a crisp then it wouldn't get sent back. I've been coming here for years but now it's time to find somewhere else

I have been going to the kingfisher quite often and have been served by a lovely lady with blonde hair. She’s kind and makes you feel very welcome!
Wonderful place, lovely service, best food with also lots of vegetarian options. Nice seating and happy athmosphere. Drop by if you’re travelling!

Wouldn't recommend on our experience , the 3 off us ordered Fish and Chips, took ages, then was all burnt batter and wafer thin burnt fish. When I complained, all she said was sorry about that will pass your comments to the chef. Should have offered refund, it was inedible

I popped in last weekend for some lunch with a couple friends. Lex greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome instantly. We haven’t been to the Kingfisher before so it was lovely to be made to feel at ease. The team were chatty and served us our drinks quickly, they recommended the Lilleys cider which was delicious! We sat in the pub and it was full of life, you can tell the team look after their guests as i noticed on several occasions that they were pouring drinks for guests who much have been regulars so it was ready for them by time they got to the bar. This is a lovely touch. We grabbed a bite to eat, i had the Mango chicken kebab which was superb! It was well presented and nice and hot. We are so glad we stopped by this gem of a pub and will definitely be returning. I will be recommending to friends and family
Food was not really all that good ..peas dry and tasteless fish was a bit thin with no sustenance to it ..
