We've been here a few times and service, if you're having coffee is really good. However, this time we decided to have brunch and there were several issues. The first is that we were not checked in as arriving which meant we are blacklisted by Open Table. It took 30 minutes for our order to arrive. I'd ordered poached eggs with my breakfast meal and fried eggs arrived (these were replaced). My wife had ordered eggs royal and the muffin was hard and the poached eggs were not runny at all, they were effectively boiled eggs. The staff are very polite and helpful but the overall impression is not good on this occasion. I'm sure we will try again as the experience for coffee and cake is always good. Maybe it was just an off day as the restaurant is always busy.Parking: Plenty of car parking spaces.

Beautiful location on that lovely warm weekend in October. We sat outside by the lovely English garden terrace. We ordered quickly. The venue warrants a better restaurant experience and menu. The quality of the food is disappointing (4th below par visit). Its more like a cafe. Its often busy so maybe we hold a minority view point. For consistency, menu, service and standards there are much better options not too far away.Sorry for the bad review. :o/

The best full english I’ve had out in a long time! Even Peanut enjoyed the eggs, he was luck I was willing to share! ??

Having pre booked an afternoon tea for 2 we waited 45 minutes for our platter to arrive. The sausage roll was luke warm surely it should be hot or cold, the Bakewell tart was dry and the scones were overcooked and dry. So overall a complete disappointment and not worth the money.

Wow what a fantastic place. Lovely surroundings, free parking, delicious breakfast and friendly staff. Cannot fault it at all. The fact that the profits all go to the charity is the icing on the cake. Unsurprising it is popular, so booking is recommended.

Met up with friends for lunch, as had many others. The food is very good , wide choice of mainly healthier options. Bills are card payment only and paper free-no receipt- which would be ok, but for the fact that the bill could not be split. This meant when paying the bills-(drinks had to be paid on receipt as did the food, too,) they were paid by one of the group and the rest of us paid her in cash!Given the venue is very popular for meet ups like ours, not being able to split the bill is very inconvenient and somewhat took the shine off the day!Parking: Sufficient parking but then walking to the venue on large gravel and raised granite setts is not comfortable or easy especially for less able users.Wheelchair accessibility: Separate access for wheelchair and wheeled walker users.

A limited menu but there would likely be something for most tastes. Always advisable to book. Volunteers help to keep the place running, because it is part of the charity.

As always a lovely experience with lovely staff who are always willing and happy to help. And great food cooked perfectly ? I had egg on a muffin with sausage and bacon as I didn't want eggs Benedict. But they were happy to substitute!

Very warm welcome upon arrival. The staff were friendly and helpful. What a lovely place for breakfast or lunch. We had afternoon tea and it was delicious. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of parking and a fenced off park for walking your dog plus seating outside. Would definitely recommend.Parking: Large amount of space for cars as well as disability spacesWheelchair accessibility: There was accessibility for wheelchairs, ramp, electric doors.

Great location for lunch and a catch-up with friends.Just one observation- please bring the shop back. My family loved browsing and buying doggie gifts!

Lovely building and setting. We were not welcomed on arrival , place was empty and told they were full then fitted us in , but not very welcoming. Cake wasn't very nice and my Mum's scone was tiny and crumbled into pieces.Didn't really enjoy the experience. Waitress was lovely and served us quickly.

We went for my Father in laws 90th Birthday treat. When I heard we were going to a restaurant attached to a hearing dog centre I didn't hold out much hope, but I loved it. The staff were all friendly and helpful and helped us to set up a nice display on our table. The food was marvellous, we had a cream tea and the atmosphere was just lovely, there were loads of people with some very well behaved dogs all sat around enjoying a rather lovely venue.I would highly recommend.

What a lovely place. So welcoming. We didn't go with a dog but so nice to be seated, coffee and breakfast ordered and delivered at/ to the table. Payment taken when ordering so efficient. All clean and tidy and nicely decorated. Seats a little hard so probably would not spend too long there. Lovely flowers outside, good parking and I'm told the toilets were lovely.I'll be back for eggs benedict!

Usually one of my favourite places to eat but sadly did not deliver when we visited on the 25th June.We both ordered the fish finger (hake) sandwich, they took over 45 mins to arrive and they must have been forgotten and left on the side as we saw people who were served a while after us getting their food. When they did arrive they were extremely dry and not enjoyable at all. Such a shame as this place is usually great
