We had a family meal at the firecrest to celebrate my mums 60th. We booked a private room and had around 10 adults and my 3 year old and it was wonderful.The food (Sunday roasts) was absolutely delicious, cannot fault it.The staff were so helpful and friendly, especially our waitress Emily. Nothing was ever an issue and she remembered all our orders and requirements (which I’m sure wasn’t easy!).We also had a bottle of complimentary Prosecco which was a very kind touch.We brought in a cake for my mum and was provided with everything we needed to accommodate this.It was a really special afternoon, made even better being in such a cosy and friendly restaurant.

The lady who served us was excellent. Friendly and attentive. We had asked for a "warm place" & were allocated a table right next to the log fire. That was perfect! It is such a nice place that it is difficult to suggest improvement.Parking: Plenty of space and close to the door

5 people for an early Mother's Day lunch/birthday celebration all was very good. Service was good, allowed us to order garlic bread that wasn't in the menu!Food was delivered promptly, hot and was all very good very edible. Portions sizes were big, no shortage of food.Overall great experience.
