Bakeries in Cambridge

“Prestige Donuts has far and away the BEST donuts and Greek specialties in the Cambridge area!Every one of their products -- from their crisp and airy loukomades bites to their fluffy twice-risen rings -- is creative, artistic, and bursting with flavor. Somehow, they manage to present only the highest-quality sweets, even on a massive scale, with perfect consistency and a never-ending wow factor.I was fortunate enough to have them cater a massive, 2000-person event. And let me tell you: every single guest was raving about the qualtiy, consistency, and flavor of their foods. Particular standouts were their biscoff-covered loukomades, which were fried to fluffy perfection. Their ring donuts were mouth-wateringly flavorful, without being cloying or over-sweet -- and never ever feeling to heavy (I had at least five in one sitting!) Their Greek sweets, too, are out of this world -- with their honey-soaked products meeting the happy approval of even my most discerning of Greek friends. But don't forget about their savoury greek specialties! They're the only locale I know ANYWHERE that makes filo pies from scratch -- and you can taste the love in every flaky, chewy bite.Beyond the food: the team is simply a delight to be around. They are the warmest, sweetest staff I've met, and are genuinely thrilled to make your day better through food. They are the absolute best caterers I've worked with in the area. I only wish they had a regular storefront, so I could eat their treats every day!”

“We ordered a special summer cake. It was presented beautifully and really delicious. Previous cakes from Cambridge Lady Cake were also excellent!”

“wonderful bakery and coffee shop ... best croissants and cakes in Cambridge.*would* be helpful if they would post their summer closure dates, instead of letting customer trek over there and find them shut. (Get yourselves a proper website, for goodness sake.)”

“I stumbled across Earth's crust by chance, as I was originally on the lookout for a Greek Gyros food stall. There was an enticing selection of rustic looking bread on display as well as pastries and samosas at the front. Out of spontaneity, I bought a Chicken tika Samosa for £2, which I really enjoyed. It was one of the best samosas I've ever had, the pastry and fillings were tasty and fresh, it was fairly big samosa so really filling and good value for money. The guy running the stall was really friendly too so makes it worth a visit”

“I'm not a fan of raisins and dried fruit in general, but that Chelsea bun might turn me around. The texture was perfect, and the taste was nostalgic and warm. Like your favourite blanket on a cold day. I wasn't even thinking of buying it, but the girl at the counter convinced me. Kudos to you, counter lady.”

“This place is amazing, the atmosphere, the food, I love everything about it, I went there one time while I was in vacation and wanna go back there...big applause to the staff that work really hard all day long and a special support to the gorgeous Dzeina, that girl is plus ultra, always smiling and willing to help the costumer. This is no less than 5 stars, should be at least 8 stars. Love everything about, keep it up, please.”
