We spent the morning in Anglesey Abbey today and decided to try a local cafe in the area because the one in the Abbey was packed. Using Google Maps, we discovered one in Burwell called Village Green. We chose this cafe because of its good ranking on Google.It appears to be a favourite hangout spot in the community. The village is small, but the cafe is quite busy. Wonderful to finally get to have a coffee here. It came highly recommend.About an hour in to a very cold and muddy bike ride I stopped in for a cake and a Flat White.Warm, lovely atmosphere and lovely food. Wonderful coffee too.

The coffee here is as good as you’d expect if you were in a self-consciously fashionable independent coffee shop in (for example) Cambridge. But it’s a lot, lot cheaper. And you don’t have to go into Cambridge. Perfection!
