“I've been here twice now and have had a wonderful experience both times. They are very happy to accommodate my pescatarian diet, and I love that they offer a non alcoholic paired drinks menu when we were there once for a lunch booking when we had to pick up our kid from school immediately after. They have also been incredibly lovely recently at accommodating a late change with our booking which I appreciate greatly. Their Michelin star is very well deserved, and I'm glad I can have the smug satisfaction of knowing they were amazing even before that award had been bestowed.”

Lalbagh has clearly considered every facet of the restaurant experience and makes an effort to deliver the very best.We were incredibly impressed with the attention that was given to each dish, from the very top with the starters that had a certain amount of drama to them,to the desserts that were quite fun. The mains were well portioned, well seasoned and obviously skillfully envisioned.The staff were courteous and warm, and the little (free!) touches such as the hand wipes, orange slices and evening chocolate tipped the scale to make the dining experience really quite luxurious.My final thought is that contrary to my expectations in Cambridgeshire, this experience was really well priced.”

“Great little diner. And the staff and and food really make it. The bacon is closer akin to a gammon which is something you rarely see and is a welcomed change. Fries are nice and crispy and the burgers are well put together with all the extras you'd expect all done well. Staff are very friendly and attentive and the music, interior, booth seating etc. is all what you would expect there to be. Great little place that I'd always prefer over a chain burger outlet as the quality here is far above.”

“We absolutely love this place. They make the best margaritas in Cambridge, the staff are delightful, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food trucks never disappoint. The wine and beer selection are also on point.”

“We made a reservation for Sunday at 12.30 lunch time to try their roast dinner.We arrived ahead of schedule, around 12.10. Despite this, the host was very welcoming and quickly showed us to our table.Once seated, we ordered two soft drinks (rhubarb lemonade and a ginger beer) and two roast dinners - pork belly and chicken.The drinks were brought first and then after another 5 minutes, the roasts came.Once we started eating, my partner told me that her chicken was very dry, and she asked the waiter to bring some extra gravy.My dish had a bit too much fat for my liking, although the taste was ok. I ate everything apart from the extra fat, as the picture shows.We did not receive a check-back whilst eating. However when we were getting ready to pay for the bill, we gave our feedback to the host.At this point, Vito - our host, was very professional and offered his apologies for the weak points of the dishes and from the original bill he deducted the chicken roast. We were very pleasantly surprised by this and whenever we'll be back around the area, we'll try one of their other dishes.I had originally planned to give 3 ⭐, however Vito has gone above and beyond, so just for him I'll give 4 ⭐”

“The food was good and the atmosphere was excellent. We did book but only on the day so not too far in advance. The pub was really cosy with the log burner going and my dog loved it. The bar staff were very friendly and made a fuss of the dog. Dogs are allowed to be in the bar area only, so if you are taking your furry friend make sure you tell them when booking to get the right area.”

“We visited the Olive Grove during our holiday in Cambridge, which had been recommended to us. We were greeted by friendly staff upon our arrival and led to a table for two. The staff provided every assistance in selecting the food and drink. The food was well presented and prepared and it was very tasty. We selected a Greek wine to accompany our meal. The staff provided excellent service throughout to give us an enjoyable dining experience. We most certainly would recommend the Olive Grove to family members and/or friends.”
