Love going to the old crown. It's relatively close to where we live and all the times we went so far I've enjoyed the experience. The beer garden is a great Hangout place in the summer and the food is so good. Both times we went we had 3 courses because there's such good selection of food and the portions are just right for me to enjoy three courses without feeling stuffed or feeling like I didn't eat enough. Great food, great service from cheerful staff who are attentive but not 'full on' and quite happy to wait between courses before bringing the next, lovely atmosphere- smart but friendly.

Our second time at The Old Crown for Christmas Day lunch. An excellent meal in a warm welcoming family atmosphere. We have also enjoyed several very good evening meals throughout the year. Highly recommended.
