I went to Gregg's in Fitzroy street today at about 1:45 pm ordered a bacon pastry and chocolate donut. The deaf idiot on the counter gave me a beef pastry instead of bacon. I don't even eat beef. Horrible experience. !!

Every single time I visit this store the would be big queue till the door. I don't why they don't hire a other staff at least at a time of busy days. every single time I leave with empty hands as of stock they don't stock it up well empty shelves.This is my experience as of today.

Man are these people slow or what ! Third time I have had to walk out and leave with nothing because the queue is painfully slow. One person serving and making coffee orders which takes a very long time. Why not have one person dealing with drinks and one serving food, there were three staff people here. Never manage to get any grub. 20 minutes for a sausage roll aint worth the wait. Also why are the pastry products always stone cold ?

Whenever I visit this particular Greggs it's always hit and miss whether they'll have any sandwiches/baguettes. I have no idea how often they replenish the stock. But I've been in around 11am and the sandwich fridges are almost empty.The queues are always long, but credit to the staff, it does move pretty quickly. There's always lots of cakes and other savoury/sweet treats on offer.Sausage rolls are a must buy. Whilst the kids enjoy the sprinkled donuts. Prices are reasonable.

PAINFULLY SLOW. Almost every time, you'll be standing there a minimum of 15 minutes. They have all these people wanting food, you'd think they could afford enough staff. By the time you actually get your food, as per Greggs, it's either nuclear hot molten corium, or more often, stone cold and rock solid. I would pay extra for warm food, though it should be a given, don't know what's so inconceivable about a tray that keeps the food warm. The staff are fine, it's not their fault there's only ever 2 or 3 people in and 1 of them is serving. It's been this way for years.

The staff manage the best they can, but there's often a wait and they do seem to be understaffed a lot of the time.The food is fine, exactly what you'd expect from a Greggs. Very reasonably priced. I never sit in to eat, always take away, one because it costs more to eat in, and two because the people who sit in here seem to be quite rowdy and messy - the staff are constantly cleaning food off the floor and whatnot, it's not a very pleasant atmosphere.There is a unisex toilet but it's often either occupied (since there's only the one) or out of order.Worth going to if you want your Greggs fix, but plan accordingly for the queues!Kid-friendliness: The venue is child friendly, there are high chairs you can borrow for your child to sit at the table.Wheelchair accessibility: The venue is wheelchair friendly, however the seating area is quite cramped and I imagine it wouldn't be that easy to manoeuvre it in a wheelchair - it's not very easy to walk around, let alone in a wheelchair.

I love greggs and this place is decent but omg its so annoying when you want a cheeky greggs at 6pm and theyre shut! but online they say they are open until 8pm!! one or two people who work there are rlly nice and ask me how ive been and how was work ( lowkey a regular ) anyways but some people can be rlly rude and kinda dismissive . slay to the people who are actually cool x
