Been a few times and never disappoints. Everything you want from a pub. Brilliant bar team, nice atmosphere and interiors and good beers. Best of all is the food. Cannot compliment the chef enough for hearty, home made and delicious pub food.
Went here for a Christmas-season pint with friends and found the service outstanding. We were even able to book a table with no trouble. It's a bona fide traditional pub, a former cottage converted to a cosy, firelit place to have a few pints. Note that there's no food service Sunday evening.
