Went for a quick drink with distant relative, what I saw food looked ok, nice seating area and staff polite and friendly.

Sunday lunch for 5. Very slow service, food poor quality. Frozen roast potatoes clearly used, gravy watery as sin, veg stewed to oblivion and meat both dry and tough. One of our party had crispy chicken and chips, which was clearly the best meal on the table despite Sunday lunch being the only main offered on the day. Drinks were fine, albeit there was no white wine available. Cannot in good conscious recommend for Sunday lunch.

Great place good food, friendly knowledgable staff children's play area, outside undercover seating area. Reasonably priced also has kids menuMy grandkids reckon their burgers are a lot better than mcds and bk.Parking: Reasonable parking spaces availableKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, staff were very accommodating with my grandkids wishes, even making a special ice cream sundae for my under 2 so he didn't feel left out.

Had a family dinner there at weekend was fantastic meal great service there was 12 of us eating ranging from 2 years to 60 years old.Catered for all ages meal size and what was on offer even our autistic son who is runny about his food touching and keeping the music down just for us.Food was out of this world. Will most definitely be going again.

Not great experience....First time my friend got food poisoning from calamari. Second visit, another friend ordered Lasagne and couldn't eat a quarter as like a brick...Oh and vaping, not three foot from us eating was openly taking place....at least four people.....I wasn't aware it was allowed by this chain.

Service as usual, brilliant. I sat in bar area, table for two right under tv, added bonus radiator warmed me up on that cold ice temp day.Had spicy butternut squash soup, warming not too spicy hot, served with toast.Next was a piece of Beef and Ale pie, the ale part for me was too strong, so couldnt eat it. (Seeing the fish and chips on next table - that looked much nicer). Depends on taste, quality brilliant. My dinner I had skinny chips and peas.Dessert I had chocolate tart and vanilla icecream. To drink I had coffee.Love this little pub. Lunch was amazing, thank you for your hospitality once again xxParking: Parking just outside door, does get quite full when busy pub. Depends on drivers parking abilities, whether any wasted space.

Broke a long drive to Suffolk for lunch at the Lion and Lamb. Dog friendly with a really efficient, attentive and pleasant bar staff. Selection of decent ales and a really good light lunch, their pies looked food too. Would highly

Greeted warmly which makes a pleasant change from other venues. I was offered a variety of choices. Without being pushed (very professional) I settled in a very comfortable, supremely clean spot. Clean toilets, I’m funny about that… Music was appropriate, and an open fire just added to the whole great atmosphere. Then, out of nowhere. Came a taster of Chefs homemade Christmas Cheesecake. This is a taste sensation like NO other. What a triumph. Delicious!!!!!! What a cracking place to spend an afternoon with a newspaper and enjoy clearly well kept top notch beer. Great staff, great beer, amazing Cheesecake, great venue… I will return very much sooner than I expected. First Class without question. Thank you chef……
