Unapproachable waitresses. Disappointed in our experience at prezzo this afternoon. The main waitress - not sure of her name - but she was sitting people to their tables and also bringing food to tables too. She was very abrupt with us, very unapproachable and I felt that she did not want to take care of our table. Maybe she was having a bad day but I do think that it makes a huge difference if you are met with a smile and treated well or not. Very disappointing.

Been in Cambridge for the past few weeks with my husband, been to a few places to eat. This place has really nice food and lovely staff, waiting a little long for food but worth it.

Forgotten about once seated. Delay in taking order. Forgotten about again. Asked about food after waiting, arrived cold. Waitress rude and unapologetic. Child's dessert never arrived. Was getting too late so just paid bill with a different server and left. We were also the only coloured people there so can't help but wonder if this is a factor in them ignoring us. Don't ruin your visit to a beautiful city by entering this disappointing establishment.

The food was quite lovely and the location was exquisite. The staff were a bit overwhelmed but that was mostly due to the fact that I visited during the weekend.

Horrible experience! This restaurant is a total disappointment. The service is simply non-existent. We spent 20 priceless minutes waiting for the bill to be brought to us. After that, when we asked the waiter to give us just 5 minutes because the internet was not working - neither mobile nor wifi - we again spent 20 minutes waiting and the waiters just raised their shoulders. And when I finally decided to walk up and ask how long we would have to wait, I was given incredibly rude treatment. The response I got was "Shut up, change your tone, you're not a princess, go where the sun doesn’t shine".I think this restaurant should close for good or at least replace their absolutely useless staff. The pasta may be good, but the pizza is an absolute disgust. I will never set foot in this horrible place again!

Absolutely deplorable customer serviceExploiting customers who maximise the location. Staff are unapologetic for delays and poor delivery of food. The manager is arrogant and doesn’t value any service. Avoid and explore alternative options.

The food was satisfactory but the service was awful, we waited 35 minutes just for our drinks. No one asked us how our food was either. Won't be going

1) Food was repeatedly delayed without an iota of contrition, whilst other non-asian tables were served priorly2) Manager/Owner said she didn’t appreciate her staff telling her the customer was rude before even hearing the entire story3) Staff lied that she didn’t say anything to the manager4) MOST importantly, food was at best- EDIBLE

Obviously an establishment run by an entitled and racist team. Had similar treatment as some of the other reviewers about being ignored, unapologetic about forgotten orders and bad service, and to top if off, being berated by the so-called manager for being unkind customers. We were always polite and had our two young children with us (so did not want to make a scene) but we thought they would benefit from feedback (seats had a mess on it when we were shown to them, our orders arrived after some others who ordered later, one of our main courses was forgotten - perhaps deliberately - after we provided feedback). I understand staff are stretched but this is supposed to be the service industry after all and at the risk of sounding "entitled" I do think paying customers can expect some level of aptitude and courtesy. In any case it was clear we were seen as not-as-worthy because of the colour of our skin - a pity in this great seat of learning where the brightest minds from all over the world congregate. Enter at your own peril ... (good location though next to the river - suspect that is what has kept it going).

Pleasantly surprised by the experience, didn’t have very high hopes after reading the numerous bad reviews on TA but thought we would try it, as the location is great. We were all very tired after a busy day sightseeing and punting so we were very pleased when the food came quickly. We were a group of 3 Adults and 5 kids all under 11. Kids menu is good and reasonable value. The rest of the food was very tasty. The waitress was lovely, very patient with the kids and happy to make some changes. Overall value not great as quite expensive but no worse than the other chains like pizza express. All in all a very good experience.

Stood 5 minutes to be seen. Then told to sit at a table which was meant to be clean, but had food bits everywhere. Took another 25 minutes before waitress came over to ask for order. Took another 25 minutes for our coffee, which was cold. Only good thing was location near River front. Staff appalling.

DIABOLICAL. Terrible service. We arrived at this place at 12 o’clock and ordered nearly straight away, our starters then took about 45 minutes to get to us which was only a garlic bread . The toilets weren’t the cleanest ever and a bit wrank. Some of the staff were alright but a few were really really rude. The don’t accept Tesco vouchers anymore. And our banana was greener than a football Pitch . Pizza was decent but that was it. Ashamed. Nice day out apart from this
