This is a tough one to post about. Mixed feelings..... They happily accommodated our booking for a family lunch. On arrival, the place defiantly look shut, with no signs to the car park, we parked in the road and walked to the first door, which was shut. The other front door was not obvious so we eventually found our way in via the rear door. The staff were friendly but service was slow. The feeling, was this was either a hobby pub business, or they were inexperienced and giving it a go, so full marks for that. The food was average and unexciting. Could have done better at home. Overall, they deserve better, but on this occasion our expectations were not met I'm afraid.

We chose this lovely village pub for my Dads wake and from the very first contact we had with Amanda and Colin we were reassured that they could provide wonderful service and beautifully prepared food for the occasion. The location , being only 5 minutes from Cambridge Crematorium was an added bonus. Thank

Beautiful food and a great welcome by Colin. Nothing was too much trouble, the food was amazing and the hummingbird cake was awesome. All at an amazing price too. Well worth a visit.

Visited recently for an NCT reunion. Fantastic hidden gem of a pub. Has the feel of a cafe, with a lovely selection of cake. Great coffee and the Landlord Colin is thoroughly welcoming and attentive.Recommend the Reuben sandwich. We’ll be back.
