The food was great and I was surprised at how fast it was.Kid-friendliness: We went on Easter Sunday, my children had a great time, they had activities, face painting, Ester hunt, etc. It was obvious that she put a lot of effort into ensuring that the children had a good time.

Had a lovely time at the red lion, atmosphere was great and the staff were really friendly. Good value for money on the drinks and food. I had the honey chicken burger and my friend had the steak and both were lovely. Would visit again especially when the sun comes out as they have a beautiful garden area.

My journal experience here the atmosphere can do with some improving the language you hear a lot of the time is drenin near fowl the people that work here though are committed I'll give them that but the food needs some improving some of the things they don't tell you when they haven't got enough fish they put the fish into cold water and then it cook it from frozen mild manager might hate me for saying this but this is for pushing me out just because you don't understand autism

SO much more welcoming that it used to be had a really pleasant evening here with a book group. Really comfortable and clean. New management has done an excellent job. Honestly, I didn't like bringing my family here in the past but I would now.

My son and I visited the Red Lion having just moved into the area. I found a warm welcome, nice surroundings, a great atmosphere, good beer and lovely food. There seems to be a great atmosphere in the bar, clearly with some regulars, there's a nice area to eat and a good outdoor space. I've been back twice since and each time has been great. I would definitely recommend.

Spent a stressful week camping at the local campsite as we were visiting a relative at the Royal Papworth hospital. The Red Lion was a fantastic place to go and de-stress. Very warm welcome, nice selection of beers. Tasty home cooked food at a reasonable price. And dog friendly. As for the group of 'loud men' at the bar, well they were friendly and just relaxing after a hard day's work. No problem at all. I can think of many pubs that would be envious of having a regular and loyal local custom like that. Well done to all at The Red Lion.

Lovely pub, welcoming staff, plenty of parking. The outside area is fantastic, and it would be great to sit out there in the summer. Had a curry, and my friend had a salad. Was a lovely meal, will definitely go again and try some of the other dishes. Nice and open inside the pub too.

Visited The Red Lion on Saturday lunch time for a meal with my family which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Great food selection and a wide range of both alcoholic and soft drinks to cater for all (particularly my fussy family!) Service was spectacular - young girl behind the bar was superb - doing a fantastic job - no request was too much for her - a credit to the pub! Overall pleasant experience will definitely be coming back!

Great pub with friendly staff and a great selection of drinks available. Beautiful beer garden which has lights and heating so can still be used at night. I am in this pub regularly and the food is always up to a very good standard, would highly recommend the chicken katsu curry and the fish and chips! They are always cooked to perfection and generous portions aswell. The food and drink here is a great deal for money and the staff have always ensured that every visit was a pleasant one!
