Spent a stressful week camping at the local campsite as we were visiting a relative at the Royal Papworth hospital. The Red Lion was a fantastic place to go and de-stress. Very warm welcome, nice selection of beers. Tasty home cooked food at a reasonable price. And dog friendly. As for the group of 'loud men' at the bar, well they were friendly and just relaxing after a hard day's work. No problem at all. Lovely pub, welcoming staff, plenty of parking. The outside area is fantastic, and it would be great to sit out there in the summer. Had a curry, and my friend had a salad. Was a lovely meal, will definitely go again and try some of the other dishes. Nice and open inside the pub too.

Visited The Red Lion on Saturday lunch time for a meal with my family which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Great food selection and a wide range of both alcoholic and soft drinks to cater for all (particularly my fussy family!) Service was spectacular - young girl behind the bar was superb - doing a fantastic job - no request was too much for her - a credit to the pub! Overall pleasant experience will definitely be coming back!
