We wanted a no fuss and faff, quality wake for our Mum and this place did it and more. The management and staff were superb, answering our questions, arranging for our requirements and delivering with skill, competence and expertise. The food buffet was fantastic, a good sign was that anything left was taken away!!!I would heavily recommend this place.

This is a lovely country pub & restaurant. In a little village of around 200 people. Good food and a lovely atmosphere. The beer is good too. Would highly recommend it. Good service very friendly.

We went for a fish night which was a really nice experience. Food was delicious and I just loved the environment the inside and outside were super pretty and cozy. Want to go back this summer on a normal evening and enjoy the outdoors and try other food they have on the menu!

A random stop for lunch and it was not a disappointment, our waitress Talulua was helpful, knowledge of the menu and went the extra mile. Birthday candle with my dessert.Cloakrooms are very clean. Definitely will come again.Prices are reasonable and fresh food.Vegetarian options: There food for all types.

We decided to take an impromptu lunch at the Three Horseshoes and we were delighted. Excellent service, delicious food, and great wine, all in a most enjoyable setting. We would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere special. We will certainly be back. Many thanks to Dee and Eric for looking after us so well!

We came for a Sunday roast after hearing great things, unfortunately we left super disappointed. We had bread and olives to kick off the meal which were delicious, in-fact the best part of the meal.I opted for the roast pork belly and my partner had the roast beef. The roast beef was lovely, however the pork was very bland and dry. The Yorkshire puddings had no depth or flavour to them and just disintegrated when you ate them. The roast potatoes were dry and tasted like they’ve been left under a hot plate for 3 hours. The roast parsnip? Turnip? I couldn’t even tell you what they were, well that was rock hard. I also didn’t expect the gravy to come on the actual dinner, which maybe I should’ve asked to have it separately but I didn’t even think about this as most places don’t have gravy directly on the dish, plus the gravy was SUPER salty. The selection of veg was okay, but once again they were very salty. In conclusion - maybe we got them on an off day? But when we’re paying £18.50-£19 for a roast dinner we don’t expect an ‘off day’. I can truly say I’ve had better roasts at my nans care home. I wouldn’t go back as there are many better places in Cambridge to have a Sunday roast that have always been bang on every time.

Lovely village pub, offering quality food. Outside seating and plenty of parking. Fantastic service.Don't expect sausage and mash or a cheeseburger here. Prices are on the higher side with mains starting at £17.
