We spent the morning in Anglesey Abbey today and decided to try a local cafe in the area because the one in the Abbey was packed. Using Google Maps, we discovered one in Burwell called Village Green. We chose this cafe because of its good ranking on Google. It appears to be a favourite hangout spot in the community. The village is small, but the cafe is quite busy. A cosy coffee shop focuses on comfort, warmth, and relaxation. The interiors are furnished casually, inviting people to stay for a relaxed atmosphere. They primarily serve various types of coffee, espresso, latte, and cappuccino, tea, light lunch, and a good selection of cakes. The environment is clean, and the employees are courteous and pleasant. The Americano coffee was okay—not the best I have had—but given the pleasant atmosphere and service, I wouldn't hesitate to return. Glad we went.

Great coffee and cakes! Also recommend the sausage rolls.

The coffee here is as good as you’d expect if you were in a self-consciously fashionable independent coffee shop in (for example) Cambridge. But it’s a lot, lot cheaper. And you don’t have to go into Cambridge. Perfection!

Nicely air conditioned on a hot muggy day, this cafe is so much more than a place to feel comfortable in. The coffee is exceptional and so reasonably priced. A brilliant choice of GF cakes too. We ate local sausage roll and toasted haloumi roasted veg and pesto sandwich. All delicious

Wonderful coffee shop with great toasted sandwiches and cakes. Small menu that is very well done. Lovely clean and airy environment and friendly staff.
