“The Yard is becoming our favourite place to eat/drink in Ely! The food is always amazing, there is always lots of Vegan options available and the Gluten free options are second to none! The staff are absolutely lovely! I think this place is probably the most dog friendly in the area, even having blankets for your dog to use. We keep bringing friends and family to show them what a great place it is, whether you’re there for a coffee, beer, lunch or dinner, The Yard really does have it all!”

“Used this place as a base for a big meet up. They kindly reserved a space in the yard for us, families and dogs. The space was simple yet ideal. Staff welcoming and helpful. On the doorstep of the market so plenty of food options available”

“Went for a trip to see an old friend, nice enough pub with a selection of beverages, watch out if you're tall though, learnt that the hard way.Equipt with pool table, darts board, a few fruit machines, nice staff and plenty of seating space along with an outside area.”

Just really good people in a well established village with great beer/lagers/sport/music that you could easily enjoy. Thatched roofs galore and I welcome after you visit… the animals that live on the rooftops.”

“After a long (and warm) afternoon exploring Ely and Ely Cathedral, an Old Brown Mouse ale and a crisp cold cider at the Prince Albert truly hit the bullseye! Although we showed up a bit early, we were greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff, and in no time, we had drinks in hand and food on the way! Everything was absolutely delicious from the bangers and mash to the toffee pudding. Wish we didn’t have to catch the train back to Cambridge because we definitely would have stayed for another round of drinks. We look forward to next time!

“I'm neither inclined to play golf nor run, and we went to a party for a runner, so it's not my natural environment. Despite this, the staff were more than happy to serve a nice pint, and the history oozed from the clubhouse, which seemed like a lovely venue for functions. Along with The Atrium, this is where most people from Ely have been a member of, at least for a while.”
