9 High St Passage, ElyIf you have not been to Sushi and Salad then you really have to. The decor is beautiful, the nicest decorated toilets i've ever seen, BUT..... but the food- OMG! and I mean OMG it is absolutely delicious, fresh, colourful, out of this world flavours. Then like a little cherry on top, you have friendly staff, who are helpful if you need help chosing what to eat, nothing was too much trouble at all. My daughter and I have been a few times and everytime it has been nothing short of Excellent. I will say I have eaten in many restaurants in the UK, Europe and across the world, and this one is the my number 1. It also doesn't break the bank to eat here.

10 Downham Rd, ElyCan’t stop coming back. Every time another family member visits, we introduce them to el guaca. Always enjoy the food (enchiladas are amazing), the cocktails and the attentiveness of the staff. The atmosphere is just as lovely on a quiet weekday evening as it is on a bustling Saturday night. 21 Broad St, ElyThe food is amazing - the fish is fresh and tender, the batter is crispy and delicious. Mushy peas are superb as well as the sausages. The owners are so friendly and food is cooked on the spot so it’s hot! Service is pretty fast so there’s not much of a wait although you might see long queues outside the shop - that’s because it does only takeaways and it’s GOOD!Definitely worth a try and I’m coming back again for sure.

Would be nice to have had ice served in the water though instead it was just luke warm and not very appealing. Will definitely return though. Highly reccomend booking as they are very busy.The booking is complicated though, you have to book and then they ring and tell you if they have a table, could do with a better system.Parking: There is a free car park a short walk away, 3 minutes max

But on that day, as it was quite near to my Birthday, my husband decided we would stay for lunch. We decide on the 3 course lunch which was excellent. A good selection, cooked to perfection and nicely presented. Very friendly and efficient staff too. Highly recommended !! We now very much looking forward to our Christmas lunch..

26 Fore Hill, ElyMy friend and I visited on a Friday evening. We were given the warmest of welcomes by all the staff, were seated in a lovely position and served drinks straight away. Our orders were taken promptly and the food was brought out in great time. The meal was divine and the restaurant is beautiful. It was simply an all-round enjoyable evening out and we'll be returning very soon with more of our friends. I highly recommend for a truly authentic Indian experience.

The portion sizes for chips is ginormous too. Honestly a small is more than enough for one male adult and a large can easily serve three male adults. It is a bit pricy for fish and chips to be fair, but it is really nice.

65 Waterside, ElyPerfectly placed on the riverside at Ely, this is a good example of an old fashioned tea room.They serve a huge range of loose leaf teas including a good decaf range along with coffee, cakes and lunch item all served on pretty china.We opted for quiche and sauté potatoes and the quiche was fantastic. Main issue and why I would only give it all 4 stars was the portion and price. We paid around £15 each for the dish which had a small slice of quiche (2 inches) and around 6 small slices of sauté potatoes. It did have a good side salad but to be honest we both left hungry. We must have had around two baby potatoes on our plates made into the sauté potatoes, it just was no way enough for the price charged.We've been before so were expecting it to be around £20 each with a cuppa but it was purely the size of the meal that made us sure we'd not order that again. I'll stick with the soup and cheese scone for less than a tenner next time or maybe just a cuppa and cake.

The staff have always been great though and food is made and brought out really quickly.I’ve at both peak times (a Friday evening) and when it’s very quiet (midday Tuesday) but the food is always the same quality and made quickly. Anyone on here complaining about greasy food needs to think about what they're ordering and where they're ordering it from! It's not a dine in restaurant, it is a cheap and cheerful take away service. You can build pretty much whatever pizza you want with any combination of toppings. I think the kebabs are also delicious. In terms of the temperature, its all luck of the draw. They don't have 200 drivers on stand by waiting to prioritise your order. If you're at the top/middle of the round then lucky you. I've had plenty of cold pizzas from domino's too. If you want guaranteed scolding hot food the order before/after tea time rush. I've never had upset stomach from here and will continue to order from here in the future!!

Worried something had happened I rushed into the dining room to discover she’d simply taken her first bite of Sabro’s taquitos.My first bite of the chicken burger I’d ordered yielded pretty much the same reaction.But I can’t do this place just if with words. You have to just try them and see for yourself.You’ll understand.It really is “Oh my god!” food.Oh and staff are such friendly and happy people. Also really good and quick at replying to messages on Instagram.We’ve found our new regular take away spot.

A heavy velvet curtain to keep draughts at bay from the entrance & large antique radiators add a homely warmth on a winter's day. Car parking available.Attentive friendly service & delicious food. 3 courses for £23, 2 choices for each course so well worth a try!Definitely would love to visit again.

3 Three Cups Walk, ElyThis is a wonderful little place with lots of nooks and cranes - outside space and a room upstairs are available and the range of ales and interesting gins is great, as is the knowledge of the staff about the options and ability to taste the various ales before committing to a half, 3/4 or a pint. W End, ElyThe best pub in Ely by far. If you're looking for a real English pub with an authentic atmosphere, run by a proper landlord, this is the place for you. You won't find overpriced food and drink served by waistcoated youths here. What you will find is a welcoming, hard working staff and very good beer. Do not expect any food more substantial than a pickled egg. That's not what this pub is about. It is, more importantly, about remaining a much-loved local pub which is welcoming to all. We was fine with that as we was very early, but the communicated that with us so we didn't mind.From entering till leaving the staff were amazing, friendly and knowledgeable on what we asked.The young girls worked hard and I believe it could off been the owner or a manger (the gentlemen) was also working hard to support the girls and helped with any questions we had.The starters were delicious and the main was amazing. We was full but had to try the stick toffee pudding and HEAVEN!!!100% RECOMMONED! We was recommended and are very pleased with it.The restaurant is an comfortable place within it's self.Hope they have an amazing new year;My meal was the hake and new potatoes with lobster sauce!

42 Annesdale, ElyCame here on St Patrick Day for late lunch, served quickly at the bar for food and drinks - was told that the restaurant was full but we were more than happy to eat on the bar area. Spacious and friendly feel. Had the two meat roast - generous portions and left feeling full. 6 happy tummies! We will be back ?

18 Churchgate St, Soham, ElyThree of us had a very nice meal here. Service was friendly, we didn’t have to wait long for the food, and it was all very tasty. They don’t have an alcohol licence, but will let you bring your own. I definitely recommend it.

108 Lancaster Way, ElyI absolutely love this place. The food and drink are fresh and delicious, and the cake range is fabulous. The staff are so friendly and helpful and the place has a lovely relaxing, laid back atmosphere. It's definitely worth a visit.

39-41 Market St, ElyAbsolutely brilliant, i came over from northampton for a brother in laws birthday and i had the tom kha soup for starters and the drunkin noodles for mains.Having visited thialand alot for work this place has been the best place ive eaten in the uk that give you.1:good portion per serving2:good service3:if you ask for spicy its going to be spicy.4:good serving times.The absolute only negative would be they dont serve chang. But was overall incredible food. Please open a branhc my way ???Vegetarian options: Also catered for gluten freeKid-friendliness: Took my steo daughter she is 14 but was able to cater for her.
