We come here as much as we can, it's so friendly ❤️ they really take care of us, when I had morning sickness the chef took special care to take out all my trigger ingredients and warned me when I was about to order something not pregnancy safe when I was still figuring things out. Complete sweethearts, can't recommend enough!

Le Spice Indian Restaurant
26 Fore Hill, ElyLe Spice in Ely is a fantastic local Indian restaurant with a warm, community feel. The waiters were polite, jovial, and made the evening feel welcoming and relaxed. The atmosphere was lovely, with a thoughtful touch in the beautifully folded napkins on the table.
The menu offers a great balance between familiar British Indian favourites like korma and jalfrezi, and more traditional Indian dishes that add real depth to the choices available.
We started with popadoms for the table. The plain ones were just as expected, but the spicy popadoms really stood out—light sesame notes and a gentle kick made them something special. These came with the classic popadom sauces, which paired nicely.
For my main, I had the lamb shank, which was absolutely divine. The lamb was tender and fell elegantly off the bone, served in a rich, spiced tomato sauce that complemented the meat beautifully.
The peshwari naan was also a highlight—plump, soft, and just the right amount of sweet.
Highly recommended if you’re after great food in a friendly, local setting.

6 Main St, Littleport, ElyA cracking fish n' chip shop! Great tasting food, portion sizes are large, and prices are spot on. The car park opposite is free, so there's no reason to not come and find this place. The service is great too, even willing to start up the fryer again as we walked in close to closing time. You can eat in or takeaway, both available.

There is no television, no music, and such is the clientele you don't have to worry about people playing loud videos on their phones. It's one of the few outlets you won't feel like an eccentric to be seen with a newspaper. A pub like this should be cherished.

They do gluten free bread so can make some of their grilled sandwiches gf, they also do gf scones and some cakes too.
Really lovely, perhaps very slightly overpriced cake and hot chocolate. But the tea is spot on.

The food menu has been crafted to excellence and the food produced is all cooked fresh and tastes amazing. This venue has a large premise with a bar and restaurant area which creates a rather relaxed vibe or a vibe for diners who prefer a more chilled evening. Rooms are fantastic and clean. Sunday roasts have been amazing during numerous visits, having a carvery is fantastic and rare to find in the area. To summarise I’d recommend everyone visits this venue wether it be for food or beer, fantastic!

We prefer to use independent businesses, so had a walk up and down the high street before deciding the Ely Grazing Company looked inviting and had a decent lunch menu.
I went for the Hereward bagel with side salad and crisps and a mocha. Delicious and satisfying!
My whole family enjoyed our lunch here, and loved the cosy vibe of this hidden treasure.
We will absolutely visit again next time we are in the area.

Couldn't have asked for better service, the lady serving us was bubbly and really attentive.
Food was absolutely brilliant. The prices seem a bit high, until the food comes out, then it is totally worth it.
Beef rib was huge compared for what we've been served in other places. Pork ribs were melt off the bone.
All 5 people enjoyed their main meals and desserts (would like more dairy free options for dessert)

Headed out to the fairsized beer garden at the side.
Locals were chatty and friendly. Headed off into town, but made sure I had time for a return visit on the way back

The menu always reflects the seasons and changes frequently. I had halibut in a saffron sauce, it was delicious. It was served with a selection of perfectly cooked vegetables. For dessert l had meringue with summer berries and cream, heavenly. I will continue to return.

Le Spice Indian Restaurant
26 Fore Hill, ElyLe Spice in Ely is a fantastic local Indian restaurant with a warm, community feel. The waiters were polite, jovial, and made the evening feel welcoming and relaxed. The atmosphere was lovely, with a thoughtful touch in the beautifully folded napkins on the table.
The menu offers a great balance between familiar British Indian favourites like korma and jalfrezi, and more traditional Indian dishes that add real depth to the choices available.
We started with popadoms for the table. The plain ones were just as expected, but the spicy popadoms really stood out—light sesame notes and a gentle kick made them something special. These came with the classic popadom sauces, which paired nicely.
For my main, I had the lamb shank, which was absolutely divine. The lamb was tender and fell elegantly off the bone, served in a rich, spiced tomato sauce that complemented the meat beautifully.
The peshwari naan was also a highlight—plump, soft, and just the right amount of sweet.
Highly recommended if you’re after great food in a friendly, local setting.

18 Churchgate St, Soham, ElyI love my indian food and must have visited every indian restaurant in Cambridgeshire many times.but i have discovered the best one of the lot the Ali Taj in soham.it should be packed on there buffett Thurs and Sunday nights.As the value for money is amazing and the food is exceptional .The best Bombay Potatoes off all time and there onion bhajis and Chicken TIkka Pathia is amazing.The staff are so friendly and you can take your own booze . What a place can't wait for Sunday.

24 High St, Soham, ElyWe were in Soham whilst passing by and we went here for dinner. It was fantastic!! A proper locally owned place with lovely people. The food was amazing, so tasty and the wine tasted fantastic. I honestly think this place is a hidden gem and I really recommend this place for food and drink.

39-41 Market St, ElyWe had a takeaway one evening and it was brilliant! The choice of dishes was fantastic, and the quality when they arrived was top tier. Everything was fresh and had great flavours, with lots of variation too. The drunken noodles will knock your socks off with spice! Will definitely order again!
