“Conveniently just down the road from my Air BnB. A great pub with a good selection of well tended real ales. Deceptively large, almost tardis like so. There was a music session going on in one of the front rooms when I arrived, which was pretty packed.
Headed out to the fairsized beer garden at the side.
Locals were chatty and friendly. Headed off into town, but made sure I had time for a return visit on the way back”

“Used this place as a base for a big meet up. They kindly reserved a space in the yard for us, families and dogs. The space was simple yet ideal. Staff welcoming and helpful. On the doorstep of the market so plenty of food options available”

Just really good people in a well established village with great beer/lagers/sport/music that you could easily enjoy.
